Story
Jeffery Deaver loves writing short stories. "All bets are off," he says. "Short stories are like a sniper's bullet. Fast and shocking. I can make good bad and bad badder, and most fun of all, really bad seem good." And that is exactly what he does in these 17 superb tales. This is a collection of short stories that is instantly gripping and impossible to leave alone, taking your breath away time and time again. Nothing is as it seems...

Entertaining
Suprise, short stories, I would have bought this anyway but I would have liked the description to have been clearer.
As with a lot of collections, some of the stories were more to my taste than others, but none warrented skipping to the next bookmark! overall I found it entertaining

Didn't realise this would be short stories
Whilst I have enjoyed other books but this authour I was disappointed by this one. The short stories were a surprise as I had not realised from the synopsis that the book was split in this way. The quality of the reading was fine and the pace was good but the stories themselves were lacking. I didn't get much mystery or suspense from any of them and having working out the ending of the first three quite quickly I lost interest somewhat.
If you like short stories then I am sure this is great but sadly this one was not for me.

great collection
this is perfect for a quick and satisfying story-telling listen. some were better than others - which is to be expected, taking personal taste into account, but over-all the stories were varied & very entertaining, some with brilliant twists in them. REALLY didnt like the last one because i hate that amount of offensive language but all the rest were fine

Gripped
Fantastic! Each story kept me gripped through to the end, desperately trying to work out what was going to happen. But with a title of 'More Twisted', the stories certainly did become twisted and as they say "I never saw that coming!" If you enjoy suspense and who-dun-it then this will fit the bill!
