Summary
Moons & Runes: Legacy is a story of friendship and caring across both the mundane and the spiritual worlds, with a healthy sprinkling of psychic abilities, witchcraft and paranormal mystery.
Charged with protecting her family legacy and a 400-year-old giant oak, New Age store owner, Thea Dawson, finds herself up against a plot which could destroy everything she holds dear.
Legacy is the introductory novel to the Moons & Runes Private Investigators series. It brings Thea together with her soon-to-be best friends as she uncovers her innate magical abilities. Step inside the cosy paranormal world of ‘The Pentacle’, and add your own positive energies to the mix, by joining Thea and friends as they fight to make their world a better place to live.

Magic and mystery
An enchanting start to this series. A gentle slow burn mystery unfolds as friends rally to protect a legacy and a very special ancient oak tree. The story moves between events in the past and the modern day. Evocative and immersive, the narrator brings life to the characters, each of whom is clearly distinguished. I especially liked that the accent of the betrayer caused me to dislike them immediately. The magic system is well thought out and consistent with general beliefs concerning Gaia, the Earth Goddess. The description of the Tarot readings prompted me to check my own deck of cards and review their meanings. The threat that brought the protagonists together births The Moons & Runes Private Investigation Agency. Moons & Runes Investigation awaits its next case. I am so looking forward to the next audio book in this series.
