About this listen
In the third book of The Fancy Lives of the Lear Sisters trilogy, a dreamy, sheltered heiress finds herself thrust into the real world, never imagining that a cold dose of reality holds the key to her happily ever after.
Rachel Lear lives in a dream world with her head in the clouds - and it’s starting to show. There’s the dissertation she can’t quite finish, the ex-boyfriend whom she has yet to kick to the curb, and those pesky 20 pounds she keeps meaning to lose. But when her overbearing father finally runs out of patience and cuts her off from the family fortune, Rachel finds herself thrust into the real world. She never could have guessed that’s where she would finally meet a knight in shining armor....
Handsome, charming, and with an English accent to boot, Flynn Oliver is exactly like the heroes Rachel reads about in romance novels. A man that sexy could have any woman he wants - but he only has eyes for Rachel. There’s just one catch: Flynn isn’t a fairy-tale prince. He’s a real man, with real secrets. Secrets that could destroy Rachel’s dreams - or give her the perfect ending after all.

Awful English Accent!
I live in the UK and seriously struggled to keep the characters straight in my head with all the mush mash accents. Flynn was the hardest. I couldn't picture this supposed British heartthrob at all with his semi Southern accent. I only finished it to see what became of Aaron and Bonnie.

Passable - good storyline unbelievable execution
Performance by Natalie Ross was superb ; she has amazing ability to portray different voices nd even the ridiculous British accent was superb!
Story itself was just unbelievable, Rachel was just so oblivious to the point of irritation! For an aspiring professor she was portrayed as a ditzy character, Miren was also an unbelievable character and Rachel was so gullible around him it was beyond ridiculous how a 30 year old can be that duped by mother human being! It left the whole experience of the book rather disappointing
