About this listen
Motherhood is a journey that has many learning curves. It requires a woman to be kind and gentle with herself. To show love and care to herself. To learn to set boundaries and trust her instincts. Self-care becomes an essential part of this process. By learning to prioritize her own needs, a woman takes an active part in the process of becoming her own friend and a happier mother, and is therefore better positioned to be able to better care for others, including her children.
Mental Health Guide for Busy Mums' was created to empower busy mothers to learn the art of self-care. Self-care allows a woman to have a positive impact on her children's emotional, cognitive, and behavioral development. Throughout this book we will cover:
- How to identify your highest values
- How to use your subconscious mind to serve you
- How to form healthy relationships and build a strong support network
- How does your mental health affect your children?
- What are the benefits of developing a kind inner voice?
- How to effectively manage stress
- The ins and outs of self-care for mums
- Why does it matter to become your own best friend?
- What steps to take to focus on creating your future
We have included plenty of exercises and practical tips to allow you to build self-awareness, identify your limiting beliefs, and practice your new coping skills.

Happy Listener
Really enjoyed this book. The author style is very practical and transparent. She shared her own experience with motherhood and how she overcame her struggles. I think this book really is a practical guide that most mums can find it very helpful. I think many people could benefit from it , before becoming a mum. Lot's of book content is very similar to CBT therapy. I loved the practical suggestions throughout the book but especially some of the exercises included at the end. Very thought provoking and would imagine helpful if you practise/use them regularly. Personally my favourite chapter was the one about building support network. It made me realise how much time I spend with some people as a habit and that I need to grow my network more.

This is such an excellent and insightful listen!
It's great that it has an audiobook version which has allowed me to listen to the book while I've gone about my busy day as a mum. I've learned so many new things that I've not considered have been significantly affecting my mental health. Highly recommend this to other mums as this has given me the nudge to be more mindful of my own self-image and manage my relationships better.

Great book for Moms! Highly recommended ❤️.
As a busy mom myself, this book really spoke to me. I was looking for real, practical ways to keep my mental health in check amidst the chaos of motherhood, and this book delivers big time.
The author just gets the unique stresses and struggles moms face today. She covers all the biggies - anxiety, depression, anger, guilt, loneliness. For each one, she shares stories from real moms that I could totally relate to. It was so refreshing to hear I'm not alone in this!
I walked away from this book feeling inspired and hopeful. The stories of moms overcoming mental health issues showed me it IS possible, even in the craziness of motherhood. The practical tips included in this book were enough to give me small, doable steps to start taking better care of myself mentally and emotionally each day.
As moms, taking care of our mental health helps us be the best we can be for our kids. This book broke it down into bite-sized pieces that even the busiest mama can tackle. I'd tell any mom struggling with mental health to give it a read. It just might change your life like it did mine!

Great and helpful
It's great and helpful book! Highly recommend to all mums, I think even to-be mums should read/listen it! At the moment I a mum of two kids, it means I have my hands full most of the time. And my self care is neglected most of the time. It was good to be reminded what is really important when it comes to our health and balance as mums. This book touches on different areas of our life such as relationships, stress, family dynamics, boundaries. All very useful. I really enjoyed all the practical tips and excercizes. Thank you so much! Kind regards! Anna
