Complete and practical guide of how to meditate.

In this book I learned the history and the many types of meditations . It will guide one on how to meditate correctly, its many great health benefits to mind and body and the most beneficial times and places to meditate.

Also learned the many components and breathing techniques to helps one reduce negative emotions, enhance focus, and improve memory to name a few.

I learned alot and benefited greatly. highly recommend this book to people on all levels.

This audible is very well explained

Struggling to understand meditation but wanting to mediate to help with stress and anxiety. I found this book very easy to listen and follow. I felt there was no rush and I can do it in my own time at my own pace.

In a tough time this book is gold

A very effective mediation book - it put me in the right headspace.

I don't need to say it, we all know, but 2020/2021 has been hard on everyone. So lord knows that we need to relax more and lessen our anxieties. Well, this book does just that and guides you in a practical fashion to achieve just that; meditation and relaxation.

I began on my commute and finished during my yoga session, so listened to it all in one sitting.

The narration is relaxing, which is key for this type of book.
If you need any of these; relaxation, guided meditation, stress relief, and anxiety reduction then do yourself a favor and get this book!

An inward journey we all need

I guess one of the key things about this pesky lockdown is that it brought on more time for oneself. But at a certain point there comes a time where you have eaten enough cold pizza and rewatched enough Friends on Netflix. Well, this is where meditation comes in.

Said simply. meditation and this book teach you how to be with yourself 24/7 tolerable and maybe even encouraged. This book will help you and build your mental resilience as a result.
The thing about working where you live primes your mind to never rest because in the past a designated location was where you worked and another where you relaxed. This has been mixed, smatched, and smudged around. This book will help you deal with this.

The narration is delightful and all in all, should honestly be listened to by you and your neighbor!

Straightforward and empowering

This book is straightforward without being patronising. It gives an explanation of what meditation is and how you can develop your own practice, eventually without needing any guidance. The book makes you feel that this is completely achievable for anyone, with practice. The narrator's voice is very soothing and relaxing. I loved listening.
