Summary
As the only Beckett cousin who is still unattached, I’m a shoo-in to win the bet with my cousins to be the last man blissfully not in love by Christmas. Of course, I know they’re still going to make me follow the rules of our bet and go on six dates with the same woman—but I’ve figured out a way out of that too. I’m getting married. Is it love? Not even close. Chelle Finch needs a temporary husband, and I need to win this bet. We agree to put a ring on it knowing that in six months this marriage of convenience will end in divorce. Except, somehow dating my wife has me realizing that I don’t ever want to take this ring off if it means losing her.
What does the guy who can talk his way out of anything have to do to sweet talk his temporary wife into forever?

Totally worth the wait!
Loved this third installment in the Last Man Standing series, which is Nash's story, the third & final Cousin taking part in the bet.
It was every bit as good as the first two - which I want back and listened to again, back to back, before starting this one. You don't have to do that of course, but it totally added to the enjoyment for me!
Although this book finishes off the bet, I really hope that the series continues, with stories about Griff's younger sister, Morgan, and Nash's two younger siblings.
Excellent narration once again by Avery Reid & Tim Paige.

Never a dull moment!
This series had me laughing, smiling, and cheering on the characters as they go on their hilarious challenges. The narrator did a great job with the many different voices. I'd recommend this book to anyone wanting a fun, light hearted read.

Cute but…
While I did read the totals of the book, they WAY over used the name of it! Not a chapter went by without them using the word mansplain.
Also, this is more of a PG rated book.

Heroine annoying
I loved the Hartigan series and the first two books in this series too, however I struggled with the heroine of this book. She is annoyed by men telling her what to do, but ok to live off her dad's fundation, has no other income just writes for fun most of her work day. I just couldn't relate to her. which is sad as I was so looking forward to this book.
I will continue to read the author's books as I really enjoy her writing style and the worlds she creates.

Best of the 3
Quirky and light, this ended the trilogy nicely. Definitely a better performance than the last book.

Loved this series
I enjoyed this book and series so much. I had never heard of this author. I’m so glad that I found her!! I loved how the relationship between Nash and Chell developed. Nash and Chell were both what each needed. The banter between them and the banter between the rest of the Becketts was great. I laughed out loud more than once on my morning walk for the neighbors to think I had lost my mind. The chemistry in the bedroom was superb. Not too trashy, but very inspiring. Gotta say, wanted Uncle Buckley to disappear into the netherworld more than once. Griff is still my Beckett of choice though. I’m so happy Mary, Groucho, Sir Hiss, Nashville and Michelle all got their HEA.
