So much better than the film!
Would you consider the audio edition of Love, Rosie (Where Rainbows End) to be better than the print version?
No, this is one of the few audiobooks I've listened to where I actually preferred the print version. This is mainly due to it being in epistolary structure, you lose something when not actually reading the letters, emails etc.
What other book might you compare Love, Rosie (Where Rainbows End) to, and why?
I haven't read another book that stands out to me as being hugely similar; to me it's more like the Ross & Rachel storyline from friends.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
The breathing pattern and pronunciation could have been better. I found myself getting annoyed (especially in the middle section) about odd gaps between sentences.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
There are some things even time can't change.
Any additional comments?
Absolutely gripping story, at times I found myself shouting for the characters to do a certain thing. I wanted to pick up a pen and write to them both. You do get used to the narration but at times you have to really focus to catch certain words.

I loved it, a cautionary tale in love lost & found
once you get used to the format of the book being a series of instant messages, texts, and various newspaper cut outs etc it really is an enjoyable tale. PS: it's hardly like the movie at all so it's worth the read to get the real story!
SPOILER ALERT:
heartbroken it took them so long to get together but it's a real cautionary tale about seizing the moment taking risks and taking chances ❤

Didn't think I'd like the format but it worked
When I first started listening to this audiobook and realised it was in the format of a series of text messages, letters and emails, I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did. I thought I would get bored. I didn't.
I recommend it if you're looking for something to keep you occupied on the commute which is what I used it for. But I did find myself not wanting to stop listening which is not something that happens to me all of the time.
I thought the narrator was very good as well.

A beautiful book, beautifully read
This is one of my favourite books by Cecelia Ahern: real, heartbreaking and uplifting, and this performance of it was beautifully done, losing none of the magic and tenderness which made me love the book all those years ago.
