Summary

Lost in Me is the first book in the Here and Now trilogy, a spin-off of the New York Times and USA Today best-selling New Hope series. It is not a stand-alone and is intended to be enjoyed with books two and three, Fall to You and All for This.

The last thing I remember is having drinks at Brady's and trying to avoid eye-contact with my life-long crush - the gorgeous, unattainable Maximilian Hallowell. They tell me that was a year ago, but I have no memories of anything since then. What I do have is this ring on my finger that Max says he gave me, and this much-thinner body I've dreamed of most of my life. Aside from a case of retrograde amnesia, everything seems almost... perfect.

But the deeper I immerse myself into this new world of mine - planning a wedding to a man I don't remember dating, attempting to run a business I don't remember starting - the clearer it becomes that nothing is as it seems. Do I have the life I've always wanted or is it a facade propped up by secrets I don't even know I have?

I need answers before I marry Max, and the only person who seems to have them is the angry, tatted, sexy-as-sin rocker Nate Crane. And Nate wants me for himself.

Lost in Me is not a standalone novel, as the story continues in Here and Now book two, Fall to You.

WOW WOW & WOW - IT WAS PERFECT....... JUST PERFECT

Oh what a fantastic twisted delicious love triangle this is as Lexi Ryan cleverly spun an intricate web between Hannah, Max and Nate.... Hannah woke up, then Max was there, then questions, insecurities, secrets, then Nate was there. More questions.... more insecurities, more secrets but this time heartache and a tear-filled dilemma too. But this story is way way more than just a mere love triangle.

This is such a well written and developed plot and, as is slowly unfolds, you have NO idea where the story is headed so you have to listen to the heartbreak, the drama, the emotional roller coaster and the romance as it all brilliantly plays out. And you get caught up in the tension, the twists and the devastating turmoil in everyone's lives. It's sensual and sexy yet there's been no 'coupling' but lots of 'other' activities.

Then, oh boy, then came the Nate's WTF declaration and a gasp, mouth open HOLY SH*T of a cliffhanger"...... that I just didn't EVER see that particular one coming. But the best, ahhhh and sigh the best, is that the whole trilogy is available now..... no tear your hair out waiting, no forgetting parts, no will they won't they - no, just this quick review then straight into books 2 then 3.

Worth the credit? This is a series that any romance fan would love love love as I did so YES YES and shouting it loud YES creditworthy. Great narration too which made ever single chapter, every single paragraph and every single word just perfect.

Sex scene after sex scene after sex scene

Somewhere In between the sex scenes was a badly written book. Not worth the time or money.

LOVED IT!

Would you consider the audio edition of Lost in Me to be better than the print version?

I've read this book, and I've listened to it. I enjoyed both equally. The narrator was really did a great job bringing the characters to life.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Hanna. Hand's down, she's amazing. BUT I've also got a soft spot for the sexy rocker, Nate Crane.

Which scene was your favorite?

The very last one, because it had be DYING to get to the next book!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

What if you woke up with the life you've always dreamed of? How hard would you look beneath the surface?

Any additional comments?

Lexi Ryan NEVER disappoints. Her writing is fantastic, her characters relatable, and her plots twisty and sexy. I can never get enough!

Lost in Me is a Must Listen!

If you could sum up Lost in Me in three words, what would they be?

Hanna Loves Who?

What other book might you compare Lost in Me to and why?

Lexi has a writing style all her own. It translates to well to audio.

What does Piper Goodeve bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I read Lost in Me before listening on Audible. Piper delivers Hanna's story in just the right tone.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Hanna and Nate are by the river and she finds out who he is to her for the first time. Nate...sigh...

Any additional comments?

I've read all of the books in the Here and Now trilogy. I can't wait to listen to the other two!!

Soft porn

What would have made Lost in Me better?

I have nothing against porn but this wasn't advertised as such. I got a couple of hours in to it and couldn't listen anymore. There was no story line, no semblance of reality in what the characters were doing and thinking.

Would you ever listen to anything by Lexi Ryan again?

Not if I had to pay for it, no.

What aspect of Piper Goodeve’s performance would you have changed?

That was fine.

What character would you cut from Lost in Me?

I didn't listen to enough of it to form an opinion.

Amazing Love Triangle!!!

Would you listen to Lost in Me again? Why?

Yes, because it is an amazing story that draws you in from the very first page.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lost in Me?

Trying to figure out what was happening in the story and where Lexi Ryan was taking the story.

What does Piper Goodeve bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She lets me experience the book from a different perspective. You can just listen to the story and you see things in a different way than if you were to just read it.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

This book will leave you on the edge of your seat, biting your nails waiting to find out what happens next.

Any additional comments?

This is an amazing trilogy. You will love all the characters in this book that you will be sad that it ends.

Not my genre

2.5 This is not a genre I usually read so I know I am in the minority of reviews here. All I can say is that I'm glad that it was short. The main story could have been done without all the sex scenes, that weren't even technically sex. A girl wakes up from a coma and is missing over a year of her life. She is thin and engaged to the man of her dreams, and is still a virgin, or is she?

Drags on and on

Could have wrapped up the series in 1 maybe 2 books. Disappointing when authors do this.
