About this listen
Lola Steele wakes with the dawn, entombed in a small car, in another woman's clothes. As the fog abates - physically and metaphorically - the fear and pain return. Lola is on the run, accused of murdering the men she loved and orchestrating an organized crime ring within the music industry.

Held my attention
The style of writing is very visual so it's easy to picture the surroundings as the engaging story unfolds. On paper, that's almost a bit over-the-top but works really well in audio, and the narrator is clear and expressive enough to bring everything to life without ever intruding.

Couldn’t stop listening!
I was gripped from the start. Full of twists and turns that’ll keep you on your toes, and the descriptions of the characters and places make you feel like you’re right there experiencing it all with Lola. Finished it in a few days, would definitely recommend!

Very enjoyable listen.
Lola Steele was full of great characters, corruption, action and friendship. It was great to listen to a story that was a little different from the norm and it had a good satisfying ending. I think it gave an interesting insight into the music industry too.
