Continued ok

After finishing the first book I felt sceptical about this one. I think that the story was great but some good opportunities for character development was missed by focusing on a very boring love angle. I really wish that the whole fantasy world was just a bit more developed. However I can see why people would enjoy it. I think maybe it was just a bit young and I would recommend it to my younger sister.

Epic Conclusion

Limitless is just as action packed as the first book in the series.
The story starts with Sela and Jack working together trying to find their loved ones.
Jack knows he needs to go and fight but he has an internal fight in his mind to keep Pearl protected and out of harms way.
Sela is reunited with her father. She finds out the truth of why her father never came to save her.
The narrators made me feel as though I was watching a movie. They made me feel the emotions of the characters.

Even Better Than Book 1

I really enjoyed this book, it's for a younger audience but it really holds in it's own. It's not corny at all, is full of action and has a solid storyline. The narrators did a great job.

I was given a copy of this book for free of my own choosing and have voluntarily left this review.

Exciting dystopian tale

I really enjoyed this book, the plot was full of action and intrigue, the characters were relatable and the narration good. The book was based in a dystopian world reminiscent of 'Waterworld' and an evil group named 'the syndicate' maintains control through fear, FMC Sela is strong and determined to do the right thing, free her people with her friends help, Jack. I was hooked from the first chapter and finished far too quickly, and left wanting more, the narration by Aimee Smith and Nicholas Cain was really good. I received this book in exchanged for my honest review.

Mix of Waterworld, Little Mermaid, Enhanced Humans

This is book two. I will admit that I didn't listen to the first book and was only a little confused in the beginning but it did quickly fill in the gaps. It was a fun mix of enhanced humans meets the movie Waterworld (dystopian) with a flair of Little Mermaid and a touch of Peter Pan. There's lots of action, likeable characters and great world building. It was a clean read free of bad language, bedroom scenes and only and normal fantasy violence (nothing too graphic) that I would place as middle school and up read. If it sounds interesting to you then give it a shot but I would recommend maybe starting with the first book.

The narrator did a great job with the voice differentiation and overall acting.

Limitless of Imagination

No i didn’t read the first book but i received enough subtext from this book to gage what happened. I think the story jumped from situation to situation without actually pausing to close out the scenario before.

I’m not sure if i would go back and read the first one but the story i would be interested in knowing is what happened to the world to make them stuck at sea.

No something i would recommend

Great storytelling

The story was felt like it was written for a young audience and i struggled to finish it. It was narrated well and the story moved quickly and flowed well but I couldn't relate to the characters and there decisions seemed immature.

Great audio!

This is definitely worth listening too! The story pulls you in with strong characters with flaws. However, they learn through these and the lessons they learn from make them better people.

Fantastic Action Packed Story

This is book 2 in this action packed series. I love the world the authors have created for this series. The characters are likeable & relatable and I became invested early on. The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the story to life. Be prepared to lose sleep - this is a page turner!!

Got the lot

This story has action, friendship and a little love.

There is no course language, no sex, and violence is kept to the basics. Would be suitable for young teams.

I enjoyed how the story is written and the characters. As they are brought to life by the authors.

Narrated Aimee Smith and Nicholas Cain who gave each character having their own unique voice. At first I was unsure about her voice, but quickly settled in and enjoy the story.

I suggest that you listen to Aimee Smith and Nicholas Cain‘s voices before getting the audio book. I listen to the audiobook on 1.4 speed.
