Let down by lack of ending.
I'll finish my review when Mr. Rankin can be bothered to finish the book. No wonder the American market made him do so!

Good Read/Listen super Character s
Not sure what to expect from Let it Bleed, although crime related not your normal investigation. That said enjoyed it, strong p!it and characters made it. Would encourage everyone to read or listen

Slow to build but gets better and better
Great story with multiple layers, story starts slow and builds with multiple layers and case developments being revealed and unpicked.

Another masterpiece. Prior to these books I really enjoyed Rebus on TV. Books just take it to another level. Onto the next instalment.

Excellent
I read this novel years ago probably when it first came out. I have been finding it so hard to find decent audiobooks that I thought I would try this one again knowing that I would probably have forgotten most of the plot, which was indeed the case! What a treat it turned out to be, even second time around. Marvellous to listen to such a well crafted novel, full of well drawn characters and a great plot, beautifully read. The combination of great writing and great narration seems to be incredibly hard to find these days. I think I will need to revisit more of Ian Rankin’s back catalogue.

Great story - Rebus at his best
My first review. I was moved to write it as it proved a great lockdown escape. It keeps challenging the reader to decide what THEY would do in that situation. I’d happily recommend it.
