After a somewhat slow start, the book finishes with a great twist. Thoroughly enjoyed the storyline and learning about the elephant facts.

The research Jodi has done into elephants gives the reader more than a good fictional read, it educates the reader on the behaviour and plight of the elephant. What a beautiful creature and yet so badly abused by so many. Mankind has a lot to answer for. Enjoyed with interest the paranormal explanations of the stories characters and that love can find away for humans and elephants.

I found this a bit slow to begin with and my mind wandered through parts but at the end I really enjoyed it. Would make a good movie!!

Over dramatic and over sentimental. Too much about elephants. Irritating voice used for the heroine. Disappointing but still a good story

This book had me gripped! I was using audible to listen to it! The confusion came from the twist to the story and I have finished feeling a little unsatisfied but if I had read it for myself I think it would have been brilliant! Great storyline!
Would recommend it.

...to finish this book. It wasn't the writing, or the story itself, but one of the narrators brought her performance to such Olympic heights of monotony and tedium that I wanted to scream! Particularly maddening when she was such a fundamental part of the whole, The things that kept me going were the facts about the elephants - despite Alice's worst efforts - and the other three readers who were perfect.
