I enjoyed this book but it didn't get a five star review from me because I got a little bit lost towards the end, one minute they were fighting, they black out and then there are in a hotel room? It didn't make sense to me but maybe it was me and I missed something, going to have re listen to find out and it is the type of story with so much going on you can listen to again.. It was a fun action packed adventure. The story is told by multiple characters and starts each chapter with the characters name so you know which character you are listening to, this works because there is a lot of characters all doing different things to stop the alien invasion. This is book three in the series and I would definitely recommend you read the previous books, as it continues on from the last and you get to know the characters. Who are just super! A big budget super hero action film brought to you in book form. I hope it is not the end of the series.
Having escaped the Trench Sawyer aka Black Harrier now has to face his biggest test yet. Working with his old team to stop an alien invasion and without the most powerful super hero in the world, Eagle star help. Can earth find enough hero's of even villains left, after sending them all to prison, willing to risk there lives to save the planet from the dinosaur like aliens? Especially when some of them are getting sent on suicide missions.
Using the different narrators was a good choice because despite all being males each had a distinctive voice and there was no confusion which character was fighting the good fight.
