A fitting finish to a wonderful series

What an absolutely delightful way of spending four hours. So enjoyable to hear about Uhtreds
early and later adventures I loved it. Thanks Mr Cornwall

Disappointed

I'm a big fan of Uthred and a long time reader of Bernard Cornwell, however this set of three short stories seemed to be nothing more than an easy way to make some money. The first two stories were almost pointless, and the last had an 80 year-old Uthred fighting his last shield wall. I would have expected this audiobook to be free rather than being charged a full credit.

Last goodbye to Utted.

Easy going stories as a reflection on Utreds life and a last goodbye. Nice way to round off the series.

Flogging a Dead Horse

Awful, no storylines, no excitement, feels like it’s ghost or AI written, and not much Bernard Cornwall style of writing included.
Story 1-potted history of England from Romans to Vikings.
Story 2- Old man’s recollection of a miracle by King Alfred.
Story 3- Short story on slaver revenge-plodding and with a dull battle at the end.
4 hours for full price,— which is disappointing.
The Narrator tried hard, but you can’t polish a turd.
