About this listen
Who are we? Like you even need to ask. We’re the seven richer-than-sin legacies causing debauchery at the prestigious Astor University in Manhattan.
Some call us spoiled.
Some call us trouble.
But everyone calls us the Park Avenue Princes.
Weston LaRue
“The Playboy”
I’m never one to turn down a bet. Especially not when it comes to retaliating against the dean for pulling a dick move before summer break.
So when the dean’s golden child arrives at Astor for his freshman year, my fellow troublemakers throw down a wager I can’t resist.
The target: the dean’s son, John Thomas Hawthorne, or “JT”.
The bet: corruption in any way I choose.
It should’ve been easy. With his mess of brown curls, pouty lips, and good-boy reputation, JT is the perfect revenge. And even better? He’s straight.
Challenge accepted. I’ll do whatever it takes to prove a point, no matter how reckless it might be.
Game. On.
Infamous Park Avenue Prince is the first stand-alone novel in the Park Avenue Princes world.

a lovely romance
I wasn't sure what to expect as I'd neither heard of the authors or narrators. It was a nonstop listen. The characters were endearing andyhe narrator's had the perfect voices. I loved it!!

A delightful story
Chapter 29 and part of 30 are hilarious! I really enjoyed this story. It had hints of National Lampoon’s Animal House to it.

It's a good story
It was a nice easy time! Hated West though. Hated East too 😂 I'll obviously never find love because no way would I forgive that pompous ahh rich boy 🙄 Definitely not enough grovelling and forgiven way to quickly too

Enjoyable
It’s a sweet story, enjoyable listen. Two things I didn’t like though: Aiden Snow narrating West didn’t work for me at all, he was a 20-21 year old boy and he sounds like a middle aged man, he narrates well but this just wasn’t a good match at all. And the second thing is that the very ending with the whole poetry thing was a very cringe and lacklustre, cliche ending, The epilogue really could have been better.

*Sigh
Book 1 of the Park Avenue Prince series follows JT & West. JT is just starting at Astor College, he knows making friends etc is going to be difficult thanks to his Mom being the Dean so people are likely to avoid him. West is part of a group of uber rich/elite guys who live off their parents money, everything in life comes easy to them and people tend to fall over themselves to accommodate their wants etc, they get bored easily so pull stupid pranks etc that have got them on the Dean's bad side in the past so JT is warned away from West & his friends by his Mom day 1 of college, after West's friends issue him the challenge/bet to corrupt the deans son for revenge that's where the story kicks off.
I was having a good time reading this and overall it is a solid read BUT what you see is what you get, there was nothing out of the ordinary with this story and West had no depth or layers to him in all honesty. A lot of this story felt rushed, even the initial meeting and spark of romantic interest felt hurried, i needed more time with them getting to know and realising their interest in each other for their chemistry and connection to feel real. I think had JT found out about the bet earlier in the book and had West really had to WORK for forgiveness and learnt the error of his ways over time I would have enjoyed this more, as it is it all happened too close to the end of the book for JTs upset, hurt and forgiveness to all be resloved within a chapter and be believable. The spice between was good but once that barrier was crossed the spice in this book is what became the focus of the story instead of any actual relationship development imo. So I'm left a tad indifferent about it, I liked it, I had a good time reading it, but it just didn't wow me. 🤷♀️ 🌶🌶.5
