Stunningly ignorant
This is a strikingly ignorant work, being substantially more polemic than history, For example, in the first chapter, the author denounces the Balfour Declaration claiming that it 'ignored the Arabs who were already there.' A quick Google search taking about 10 seconds reveals that the Declaration states, 'it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of the existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine.' Who else could this possibly refer to other than the Arabs?
One wonders into which category of ignorance this striking error should be placed. Passive, wilful or perhaps communal?
