High up in the treacherous mists of the Murderous Mountains, Hiccup and the Company of the Dragonmark are in hiding. The witch's Spydragons are guarding the shores of Tomorrow - but Hiccup is determined to become King of the Wilderwest. Can Hiccup dodge the dragons and steal the King's Things back from Alvin before the Doomsday of Yule? And is there a traitor in Hiccup's camp who in the end will betray them all?

How to Train Your Dragon is now a major DreamWorks franchise. How to Train Your Dragon 2 hits cinemas in Summer 2014 starring Gerard Butler, Cate Blanchett, and Jonah Hill, and the TV series, Riders of Berk, can be seen on CBeebies and Cartoon Network.

Brilliant performance of a wonderful story

This is a rally great story with the climactic confrontation between Hoccup and Snotlout that really punches deeper than it’s weight as a kids story. With David Tennant’s utter brilliance of voice combined with acting performances the whole story just ticked all the boxes. Brilliant.

Wonderful pairing of narrator and author.

As per usual, David Tennant's narrations of How to Train your Dragon, compliments Cressida Cowells' writing wonderfully. I enjoyed this series as a child, and now as an adult I still find it extremely enjoyable. The story is fantastic, with parts that get very deep especially for a children's book. Though most likely you need to listen to the series from the beginning, as this book will be confusing without doing so. But if you have already listen to the rest of the books, then you will definitely enjoy this one too!
