Story
Although all the information is scattered around the Internet, there is not one single audiobook that covers all the bases. This audiobook does. It begins with an introduction to the 10 basic tenets for the battle ahead. In 15 chapters, (8 hours of audio), It deals with ways to beat prostate cancer by conventional treatment, alternative therapies, mind games, emotions, diet, exercise, and love. My main argument with respect to conventional treatment, is that doctors do not tell a patient all he needs to know about the process that lies ahead.

However, with every edit and every conversation with a fellow sufferer, it transformed into what it is now, which is an emotional, honest, and heartfelt account that not only aims to engage, entertain, and inform, but also comfort and inspire.

Short & to the point
This book gave me hope that it’s possible to walk without pain. My podiatrist told me the same thing as the writer’s podiatrist - get insoles, wear sneakers but the pain is here to stay. I refuse to accept that. I am still young and I believe that taking steps such as the ones outlined in this book along with a positive mindset will conquer my pain. Good tips and I will try all of them!

Mirrors my own story....Gave me tools and Hope
This is a good book with valuable information. Much of what the author has experienced and discovered mirrors my own experience with plantar fasciitis and methods I have implemented to help heal my feet, plus a few I had never considered, but will certainly try.
It was so encouraging to me to hear that the things the author found most helpful (massage, ice, footballs) are some of the things that I have already been implementing the past few weeks. Before this book, I was getting discouraged, because although I have noticed that these things help me I REALLY wasn't sure if it was helping me to heal or just providing temporary relief. This book has filled me with the hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THIS BOOK. WITHOUT IT, I MAY HAVE GIVEN UP HOPE OF HEALING BEFORE GIVING MYSELF THE TIME NEEDED TO HEAL FULLY.
The author has made what I consider other great suggestions that I am sure to add to my current regime.
Yep, I am doing a happy dance albeit light-footed and gingerly, for now, it's a HAPPY DANCE nonetheless.

I started using half before listening with pretty good results. I will add Glucosimin, ice baths, Meadow thistle, and her recommend footwear. I must do something as inflammation and arthritis runs in the family. My mom has not walked in almost 20 years.
