Summary

He is on a mission....

Garrick Sinclair, an expert archer and Robert the Bruce's best mercenary, is sent on a covert operation to the Borderlands by his older brother, Laird Robert Sinclair. He never expects to meet the most beautiful woman he's ever seen - who turns out to be the sister of Raef Warren, his family's mortal enemy. Though he knows he shouldn't want her - and doesn't deserve her - can he resist the passion that ignites between them?

She longs for freedom....

Jossalyn Warren is desperate to escape her cruel brother and put her healing skills to use, and perhaps the handsome stranger with a dangerous look about him will be her ticket to a new life. She never imagines that she will be spirited away to Robert the Bruce's secret camp in the Highlands, yet more shocking is the lust the dark warrior stirs in her. But can she heal the invisible scars of a man who believes he's no hero?

I Loved this Book

Yet another brilliant book from Emma Prince. This series has just the right amount of intrigue, tension & steaminess to keep the listener hooked.
I would definitely recommend it.

Loved it

I liked this book best...so far. Jocelyn is one of the best heroines. She really comes into her own. Garrick also is terrifically written. This is a keeper. Tim Campbell...once again...does a wonderful job. Continuing on to book 2.5.

Great Story

Loved the book! Great story. Great and lovable characters. It definitely left me wanting more on these two. I enjoyed the detailed information about the difference in the weaponry in this case the bow. I liked that the author included very reliable detail about the time period including the atrocities committed against rival clans and of the English against Scottish and vice versa. The only negative to the story line was the historical inaccuracies and even though I appreciate the authors note at the end of the book, I still prefer that the story was historically accurate. I believe that the author could’ve included Edward I aka “Longshanks” into the book while having his son Edward II as king. Other than that, it’s a great story and unless you are a big history buff I don’t think many would even notice.

Excellent Book

Highlander's Redemption Trilogy book #2 by Emma Prince. This author does it again I am loving this series of Highlander's The character's were very good. I love reading books about Highlander's spending a lot of the time in the wilderness and this book gives it to me. I also love how big and strong the Scotsmen are and the heroines. This book will not disappoint and must read and the love scene are very naughty.

So awesome!!

I really loved the first in the series but this one?!? LOVED it! It was so fun how the characters came together. I loved Josslyn’s grit and determination. I liked too that Garret didn’t fight as hard against his love for J as his brother did in the first book. GREAT READ. Cannot wait to hear Burke’s story and well… Tim Campbell’s reading kicks butt too!

Highlanders Redemption

I enjoyed this audio book very much. it was a very good story, but I thought that the first one was better. I love all most anything read by this narrator, I still wish they would use a woman to read the female parts then the books would be perfect. Bonnie

DNF

re-started at least 4X, finally, at less than 2 hrs left, I just had to be done. I didn't care about any of the characters or the story line as a whole. blah. narration was good
