Summary
Caitlin Tyler doesn’t do bridges - she just doesn’t know it until she lands her dream job and freezes halfway across her new town’s towering death span. Cue the cocky, infuriating fireman who goads her off the bridge. He’s hot, but he’s also exactly the kind of guy she wants to avoid, which she manages to do for a whole four hours.
Lieutenant Shane Hendricks is only two weeks away from leaving Dry Rock. He sure as hell doesn’t need to get involved with a woman he has to rescue twice in one day. The fact that she’s clearly annoyed by him doesn’t deter him from throwing down a challenge - one that proves hard to resist for all the wrong reasons.
They’re moving in different directions. Leaving should be easy, but falling for Caitlin might be the one fire he can’t put out.

Easy, light read
I liked it. Nothing extreme, just perfect to relax. Story not overly complicated, no mistery, and its refreshing to hear a story where there is a character brave enough to be straight forward about her feelings.

Cute, but rushed *spoilers*
Overall it was pretty good. I guess I thought the her family had died by her over all reaction to her trauma, but that wasn't the case, thankfully for her. My only problem with the story was the last 20 minutes of the story, just felt rushed. She gave in so quickly. My heart physically hurt for her when she left after telling him how she felt and he was so cold about it. I just felt like she forgave him way too fast for what he did. He basically forced her into falling for him and cast her aside in the end. She deserved more. Everything else was great, I just wanted more for the heroine.

Not impressed
I couldn’t get into this book. For the way she acted and you would think that something horrible happened in her past.

Begins & Ends on a Bridge 💙🚒📚♥️
Cute story about overcoming fears and finding your true destiny. Shane and Caitlin have an unusual meeting, when he rescues her in his capacity of a firefighter.
Trying to walk away while he pursues his dream is hurtful but he finally works out what is truly important.
The narrator does a good job with this story, written in third person point of view.

DNF
I just don’t understand “romance “ novels that have a “hero “ who is an a/h billed as an alpha and more importantly, a heroine who finds him attractive. Couldn’t stand the hero and his horrible attitude.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Narration was really good. The story was okay but I wasn’t ever drawn in enough to get on board. Maybe there were too many side characters distracting from the main characters

Lacking Depth
If you’re looking for background noise to get you through the workday, something you don’t need to really pay attention to, but has some cute moments then this one is for you. I enjoyed it for what it was… a free listen. The author really missed the mark on the anti climactic moment when Katelyn revealed the reason for her fears to Shane
