Summary

Her perfect twin. Your new obsession.

When Megan discovers photographs of her estranged identical twin sister on her husband's phone, she wants answers.

Leah already has everything Megan has ever wanted. Fame, fortune, freedom to do what she wants. And when Megan confronts Leah, an argument turns to murder.

The only way Megan can get away with killing her twin is to become her.

But then lockdown hits. How can she continue living two lives? And what happens if someone else knows her secret too?

Her Perfect Twin is the most addictive, twisty thriller you'll listen to in 2022. Don't miss this wild ride of a novel.

Critic reviews

"A deliciously sticky web of a tale that snared me from the very first page and didn't let me go until the shocking end." (C. L. Pattison, best-selling author of The Housemate)

Unbelievable

Seemed like a good idea to take the place of a twin sister one has accidentally killed - but to suffer no remorse made the whole set up unbelievable. I did try to continue because narrators were doing their best but I loathed this calculating creature - so I had to give up with 5 hours still to go - and I didn't even bother to skip to the finale! I could have been wrong although when one has no sympathy for the main character then the outcome is of little interest.

Gripping from startTo finish!

I took this book away on holiday with me because I fancied reading a thriller and this did not disappoint.

I particularly love the narrators and how they brought the personalities of the various characters to life. I’d highly recommend this book to anybody who likes thrillers filled with suspense such as gone girl, The Girl on the Train, guilty wives. however I think it is a lot more juicy as the story unfolds.

There are so many one-liners that make you laugh out loud.

The phrase that comes to mind is when the Hunter becomes the haunted, or when the mouse becomes the cat. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book

Chicklit of the Worst kind

Bought this book on the recommendation of a guardian journalist I follow on Twitter and whose opinion I normally respect.

This is a highly contrived, poorly written book – far more EL James than PD James when it comes to writing thrillers.

Best avoided.

Should have sampled before buying…

I am sure this is a really good book, with an interesting story line, but as much as I want to, I just can’t get into it. The ridiculously high pitched, childlike, sing song voice of the narrator is driving me mad and I just can’t listen anymore. Disappointing.

Worth it

It’s been awhile since I read a book with a great storyline and the twist at the end is genius

Fantastic

So many twists and turns and I enjoyed the different characters telling their part of the story

Addicted from start to finish

I’ve really struggled to find a book to get into recently. But binged listened to this in a weekend! Engaging characters and story-telling throughout and I was wondering what was going to happen next right to the end. Depiction of the defence lawyer particularly good without straying into caricature -hard to do. Can’t wait for the author’s next book!!
