Excellent Guide to Norse Paganism and Mythology
Listening to this book felt like I attended a university class taught by an expert who made this rich topic and how-to guide very easy to understand. The tone was ever so engaging and positive. The writing was superb and very well-written. It was narrated beautifully. And the pdf was great to have, especially seeing the pictures of the Gods and Goddesses and learning how to pronounce the written names.
I love learning about mythology, ancient traditions, and modern-day spiritual practices. This isn't a dusty, old book. It's a how-to guide to learn about the different branches of Norse paganism, its rich history, and mythology, how you nurture the light sparked within your heart if you wish to become a Norse Pagan, and how to incorporate various Norse Pagan practices daily in our modern-day times.
Did you know there are several different branches of Norse paganism? Did you know that there is a resurgence of Nordic paganism right now? I learned this and more. There's a special section about how white supremacy is not a part of this ancient and modern spiritual tradition. Instead, the author writes it's not a spiritual tradition that operates from merit and gain rather, it's about acceptance, " ... accepting yourself for who you are and making peace with it. Embodying the principles of paganism in your daily life will allow you to live a more grateful, enjoyable, fulfilling, and wholesome life. "
By the way, the narrator was superb. I felt like I was listening to Gandalf or Merlin. Then I learned of Baldur, the Norse god of wisdom, peace, and light, It became clear that I was listening to Baldur's voice sharing the wonderful wisdom of the Nordic spirit. I do highly recommend this book.

wonderful audiobook
I find this audiobook very interesting. Before, I had never heard of Norse paganism. This audiobook does a great job of explaining the Norse faith and its Germanic roots. It gave precise detail while remaining interesting. It felt like a quick listen, I was captivated by the topic. I was surprised by everything I learned through this audiobook; for this reason, I recommend it to anyone interested in Vikings, religion, paganism and Scandinavian culture.

Really interesting
This audiobook is a great guide to Norse Paganism, really substantial and complex. Would recommend to newbies as well as people a bit further along the path, you’ll still learn a lot!

Looooooooooooved Learning More!
I looooove Norse Mythology. Did a powerpoint presentation on Norse Paganism in College as part of a Public Speaking class. This book really brought me back to everything I studied while teaching me more then I ever got from other books. Incredible deep dive yet perfect story telling for beginners. What a great audiobook! Wow!

Add magic to your life
The author had my attention when she started by addressing the rapid homogenization of today's world. She hooked me in when she talked about those of us who are looking for a deeper meaning in life. By the time I was getting to chapter 1, I knew I would stick with this to the end. I especially enjoyed the chapter on divine rune wisdom. I think this is a book everyone of us seekers needs.

Greater understanding about Norse Paganism
Norse Paganism was once thought to be not in existence especially as history progressed with other beliefs. Now this book has made it known that Norse Paganism is alive and well. The author has done a good job helping me vision the holistic environment we live in, while enlightening me about Norse Paganism. This book is a good guide to learn more about this belief.

It was like listening to an epic adventure!
This audiobook was a really fun surprise. I didn't know anything about Norse paganism, and wasn't really sure I'd be interested, but it was fascinating! The narrator did an amazing job- his voice was just perfect for this. This book wasn't a boring litany of history, but instead a really cool overview complete with all the mythology and stories behind Norse paganism. It was awesome. It reminded me of listening to an epic drama series like Harry Potter, or Lord of the Rings. I highly recommend taking a listen, regardless of if you think you'd like it. You won't be disappointed!
