Summary

They call him the Iceman. The eldest of seven brothers, he is the biggest. The coldest. The meanest.

No one has been able to break through the icy shield Kane Callaghan has built around himself. No one except the tiny, stubborn woman willing to sacrifice herself for him. She haunts his dreams, but he has no idea who she is. Where she is. Or if he'll ever see her again.

Rebecca Harrison spent the last 12 years with humanitarian relief organizations, travelling to some of the hardest hit areas of the world, but none has ever affected her as much as that tiny village in Africa. Because of him.

Fierce and beautiful and terrible, she can't get him out of her mind. Kane. The avenging archangel who appeared out of nowhere, saving her from a fate worse than death. The one she was forced to leave behind.

Worlds apart, they are bound by the events of that one horrible night, though the chances of ever meeting again are too small to dare even hope. Of course, neither one realizes just how clever Fate can be....

Contains mature themes.

Well well well

Those Callahan brothers can be so dense sometimes. Cane took his precious time to figure it out. Another great performance from Aiden Snow.

Fanfeckingtastic

I was pulled into this story right from the beginning, staying there until I had finished every single last word that was written, all the while I had my little mini movie playing in my head.
I have to admit and don't tell all the Callaghan Brothers but to date Kane is my favourite, I can not explain to you why, cos he is the total opposite of what I would actually go for in a guy, but there is just something about him that calls to me.
There are surprises all the way through this book, some you will see coming, some you won't, some are large, some are small, but they all have there own importance in the story.
I went on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster ride with this book, even though my favourite of the brothers there were times when I could of happily slapped Kane, but he redeemed himself in the end.
Abbie Zanders has written one hell of a powerful story, at times it really pulled on my heart strings.
It doesn't matter how many times I read it or I listen to it as it is available on audible and yes I have it, I always laugh at the same part, cry at the same part and what to slap Kane at the same parts.
I recommend Abbie Zanders as an author as she has a few different genres available, I recommend this book and this series, if you haven't read them and you like brooding alpha men you will love this series.

Guardian Angel

I so enjoy listening to Aiden Snow, always a joy.

Zane is the oldest and most series of the Callaghan brothers, that is until he meets his match in Rebecca. He meets her on a rescue mission, but also later on. A great love story.

She Melts The Iceman!

Kane is the eldest of the Callaghan brothers and is known as the Iceman because of his serious demeanour. He saves Rebecca Harrison during a mission and she in turn saves him and then disappears. She haunts his dreams until she reappears in Pine Ridge. I really enjoyed this sweet couple and storyline. Abbie Zanders gives us another wonderful story about love and forgiveness. Both Kane and Rebecca have had to fight and conquer their demons. I love the way the brothers work with, and for each other, no matter what. Aiden Snow always gives us an enjoyable experience with his amazing voice and perfect narration.

Fantastic!!!

What made the experience of listening to Guardian Angel the most enjoyable?

Aiden Snow makes imagining the story easy.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Guardian Angel?

When the main characters figure out they met that one fateful day in the jungle.

What does Aiden Snow bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Aiden Snow is one of my go to narrators. His voice whether in male or female character brings emotion and soul to each book.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When they came together.

the biggest, baddest aplha of all

Omg! Kane and Rebecca are what dreams are all about. Both have traversed the flames of hell and. although scarred from their trials. have come out the other side stronger than ever. I absolutely adore that Kane has found his heart. Rebecca is the gentle flame that melted the Iceman.

I Was Very Interesting In Kane's Story

I was intrigued by Kane from the other books in the series and was not disappointed when I read this. First, Aiden Snow does an excellent job of narrating. His voice is calming, but he can do all the voices without me getting confused ask to who is speaking. Kudos to Aiden. The story line was good, they meet in horrendous conditions and then part with no chance of finding each other. Although, if she went back with the Kieran how does he not know what happened to her or her full name, etc. When they finally meet things heat up but Kane is obstinate, of course. The story did slow down in some places with Kane's musings and introspection but if you get past that it's worth it in the long run. Rebecca is strong in many areas but lacks a lot of confidence in others. her character grows at first and then slips back a little. But sometimes a strong woman just needs to give in and let someone take care of her. I am looking forward to listening to more in the series. The Callaghan Bros & their women are intriguing.

Guardian Angel

Again Abbie has hit it out of the park. each Callaghan brother is different, from the others. Kane is the iceman, one wonders how he could even think to find a woman, to love and one that would even love him back, He is a super hard man, one that even his family walk around very carefully, yet a soft spoken southern lady, takes him on then claims him in her own right, giving him the way into the family and love he needs.

Too long

WARNING...MAY CONTAIN A SPOILER OR TWO.

Couldn't wait for Kane's story and his happily ever after. I could tell right away his story would be different. I liked Rebecca from the beginning. She was one big contradiction. Seen alot of hardships in the world but still somewhat still naive. She was perfect for Kane. Soft to his hard, light to his dark.

I couldn't help but think that something was missing though. I can't put my finger on it. I found myself fast forwarding the last 2 or 3 chapters. Things were dragged out (last 2 chapters for the wedding!?)

Aiden Snow was fabulous as always.
