Brevity doesn’t lead to quality
It is a standard Duffy story and so it was enjoyable but far too short and no surprises.

Great Appetiser, can't wait for the main course.
Naturally I have all 7 Duffy novels with book 8 pre-ordered.
I love the wit. I love that unlike other "prequels" I've read, this one does not appear to setting up any continuity errors. It's great to see Duffy start as he means to go on, with.....well, pretty much everything. I've always described him as a "flawed hero." Long may he continue.

Only an exceerpt
What on earth is this?!
I love this series and eagerly grabbed this as I've read all the rest. It is however, only an hour and a half. It just stops and I thought something had gone wrong and my device had skipped ahead.
I can't wait for more Sean Duffy but selling this is ridiculous.

Not a book. I was only an hour and a half !
I’ve listened to all these books so was excited to see a new one. My mistake…it was literally an hour and a half. Complete waste of money. Very disappointed
