About this listen
Death comes for all even the gods.
Knells plans have begun to come together. His crew grows larger and more powerful with every passing day, and rumors of Captain Sorfina's death have already started to spread but not all attention is beneficial.
A group who have lurked in the shadows for centuries are moving once more, and their leaders motives are just as shrouded as their past.
More pieces enter the board of looming war, and Knells crew finds itself at the center of everything, whether they want to be or not.
Knell is determined to stay one step ahead of his opponents, but he's never faced anything like this.
He's been preparing to deal with the Fragments since he was a child, but some of the eyes watching him don't belong to gods.
They belong to something much older.
Book 2 in the next action-packed, strategic LitRPG Series from Actus, bestselling author of Blackmist and Cleaver's Edge, about a tactician with access to a System, his crew, and his quest for mortal revenge.

favorite Actus series
I love litrpgs with a balanced party, I read and or listen to Actus other works but in those the Main character is pretty much always the strongest (even though they might say otherwise). but in this series the main character isn't the strongest in a fight but that doesn't mean he doesn't has his own strengths where he excels. Every member of his crew has their own strengths which causes a well balanced party. the story is great and you learn about all kind of different characters and the world around them. I hope that in the future Actus keep it that way and doesn't rush things and maybe write another book series with such a great party dynamic.
