The conclusion of an epic love story between an extraordinary girl and a soul reaper.
Cora Jemison has come a long way from her stint in a psych ward and her fear of the dead. A confident Medium, she allows souls to possess her to help them find closure. When she decides to tell her parents the truth, that she still sees the dead and that her fiancé is a soul reaper, the Jemisons reveal secrets of their own.
Her world starts to crumble, the ripple effect threatening to destroy the one thing she can always count on. Her relationship with Echo. Cora must sort through the lies to learn the truth about who and what she is. Only then can she embrace her destiny and claim her soul mate, Echo.

New narrator!
Been a faithful fan and have immensely enjoyed the past SIX audiobooks. This one is painful to listen to because a cardinal sin was committed and the narrator was changed. The new narrator has zero inflection and robs the characters of their previous charm, life and personality. Words and names are now pronounced completely different and I feel like I’m being read a script by a telemarketer who has a fake smile plastered on their face the whole time. The men are no longer distinctive with their unique accents. The girls and women all sound the same and are portrayed like shallow high school girls and not the strong women they are. Looking ahead at the next audiobook in the series I’m hugely disappointed to see they did not go back to the original narrator. This should have never been allowed to be produced in such a fashion. You did the fans and the author a huge disservice.

New narrator.....meh
I love this series but the new narrator is terrible. There’s no inflection, no unique character voices. There’s a whole conversation with Cora and Raine that is nearly impossible to follow because the characters sound EXACTLY the same. Also, the men don’t sound like men and Dev’s Irish accent has been reduced to an occasional lilt that is totally inconsistent. Not happy they switched narrators for the last book.

Great series
Although this was my least favorite and I like the first narrator better. It’s still a great book. Kelsey is a good job at narrating

Why change narrators?
I have enjoyed this series. However, I really don't like the change in narrator for the final segment. I did not enjoy her telling of the story.

An end to a beginning that will never see an end.
Simply love these Runes Series books. Each is a treasure to experience. This is the last in a trilogy about Cora Jemison's story. Three childhood friends whose destinies will lead them to higher places in the Norse mythology. All will lead after Ragnarok.
Cora's Earthly parents give her the news that she was adopted by them and that they are immortals. Her world once again turns upside down as she struggles to deal with her future, knowing her biological parents want to meet her.
When Eirik shows up, he rocks her world a bit more when he divulges the news about her biological family.
When tragedy strikes a friend who helped Dev live again, she decides to visit her biological family's realm.
The production was great, but I feel that Kelsey Osbourne, who narrated all three of Eirik's books and did such a terrific job with the voice of Celestia, didn't fit well with Cora's voice.
