Summary

Raina and Wizard are back, racing across the Northern Waste to outrun ice pirates as they follow a distress call to an isolated community that just might hold the answers to the mystery of Wizard's missing-and-presumed-dead, now-possibly-alive sister, Tatiana. But instead of answers, all they find are buried secrets and a truckload of trouble.

For those of you who've been missing the Northern Waste, Frozen is a brand-new novella that takes place between the events of Driven and Hidden. It can be heard as a stand-alone.

Warning: Frozen includes nonstop action, Reavers, snowscooters, plasguns, frigid temperatures, rebels, a heroine who's a blonde tsunami with a backbone of pure steel, and a smart, hot hero who has a little difficulty with emotion.

So bone cold

I’m not a big fan of the cold just like this heroine but at least I’m not going to have to fight all the time. It’s fast paced and action packed and a great addition to the series. I love the way they always protect each other and the way they’re doing the fighting together. I’m so ready for the next installment.

Raina and Wizard are back!

First of all, this novella is part of a series and should be enjoyed between the first and third books, as intended. Also, I want to mention that Vincent Lee Grayson may sound a little robotic but that is intentional and fits with the character's personality. It took me a while to understand and appreciate this while listening to the first book.

That said, I often struggle to enjoy novellas because I find them too short to do justice to a well-developed story. Not in this case. This book unapologetically fits between the first and third book. It relies on the reader/listener's awareness of the backstory of the characters and familiarity with the world Eve Silver created. It shows further development in the relationship between Raina and Wizard while hinting at what may be coming in the third book. I am hooked and ready to dive into whatever comes next!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Northern Waste Book Two

Northern Waste Book Two.

Raina Bowen and Wizard are back. This time they're on the trail of Wizard's sister, Tatiana. The first clue is a broken distress call from a remote, undefined village. Raina and Wizard set out to one of the three possible locations of the distress call, only to be delayed by an attack. Can they find Tatiana and the village in time?

If you're looking for more from this icy world and those who inhabit it, this is the book for you.

Audio Review:
The two narrators meshed well together in this duet narration. I didn't get pulled out of the story because they blended everything very smoothly.

Heart Pounding Perfection!

Wizard and Raina are back in this heart pounding thrill ride of adventure! The writing is fabulous, the plot intricate, interesting, exciting perfection! No spoilers, but know that my heart was in my throat, my butt at the edge of my seat, and my tears flowing! Eve Silver’s writing is clear, engaging and leaves no question unanswered. I love that the dialogue is always magnificently fitting to plot scenarios! Now the narration, WOW, a thousand WOWS! Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson bring these characters to stunning life! One hundred percent character driven, on point perfection! What do I mean by that? Listen and all will be revealed! Going into detail would be playing plot spoiler. Just trust me, this narration is stunning in it’s perfection! Frozen is a five star across the board listen! I loved it! I loved everything about it! I know there has to be more coming in this magnificent series and I for one can’t wait!

Very Good and Interesting Story

The world they are in is quite Artic from the description. Not sure where the story is going yet, but so far it is good. The main Characters are a woman and a genetically inhanced man who was raised by a Computer and there by speaks like a Computer when conversing. Narrator does a good job with the characters voices and Storyline.

More sexy sci-fi excitement

Raina and Wizard continue their sexy adventue! I love the way Eve Silver developed the characters, especially Wizard. Lillian and Vincent Lee Grayson are among my favorite dual narration couples, especially among sexy times.
I received this audiobook copy of Frozen for free and left an unbiased opinion.

Action Packed Novella

I liked this novella! It's a fairly short listen; it's about 2.5 hours. It has all the action and romance (ish, Wizard does his best) as the previous book! Raina and Wizard are wonderful together from going on missions to learning each other's quirks. I liked how much the characters grew in comparison to them from the previous book. It was a nice touch by the author.
There's a lot of action/violence and some steamy scenes in this story.

Note: The novella can be listened to by itself, but it would be more enjoyable to listen to/read the first in the series before this one.

job well done!!!

This is an exciting and suspenseful series, and this addition does not disappoint at all. Rayna and Wizard are a dynamic duo that are mesmerizing to watch in action and during down time. I live Wizard's dedication towards anything Rayna! Grat action, heat, and epilogue. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.
