First was better
I went in with a bit of apprehension but I enjoyed the first CPOV and I enjoy the Legend Empire exposition. However the stories here aren't as strong or fun as they could be, but the audiobook performances are great.

Essential Star Wars Listening /Reading
This is a wonderful collection of stories fleshing out background characters, and even introducing new background ones, throught the original film. Some fantastic extrapolation gives meaningful stories. The audio version has performers/narrators and sound effects that make it so immersive.

Awesome
While I didn't enjoy this book quite as much as the first, its still brilliant. looking forward to more.
easily my favourite chapter in both books are the keepers of the whills.
I want a whole book from the keepers of the whills by Jonathan Davis and Marc Thompson, they're funny as hell and its a bit sad their chapter is so short.

Not as good as A New Hope, but still some great stories.
Although I would say a lot of this one is more forgettable than the predecessor, there are still some great stories in here, but I must admit I expected more considering Empire is by far the best of the films. Performances are fanastic!

A variety of stories to dip in and out of..
I enjoy the Star Wars films but I'm also a gamer, and was looking for something a little different to the usual mainstream content that is currently popular.
This collection of short stories was ideal, as each wasn't too long and I could dip in and out of it alongside listening to other audiobooks. The stories center around the people you see in the films behind the main characters,or stood off to one side. Guards, dock workers and even animals are all represented and their lives and short story arcs add flesh and depth to the Star Wars universe.
The voice cast is generally good. There was only one story that I didn't like listening to as I didn't think the voice used for the characters fitted well. Sound effects are consistent with what we recognise from the films. Blasters sound like blasters, and TIE fighters have their signiature scream.
The stories are very varied. Rebel, Imperial or neither, the characters are bounty hunters, or Imperial fleet officers, on dust ball planets, asteroids and swamps. Do you know what happened on Cloud City after the Imperials took over? What about the origin story of Howlrunner? I do...
In summery, if you enjoyed reading the Star Wars books about Boba Fett, or what Luke and Leia did after the The Return of the Jedi, I would recommend this audiobook. The characters are complelling, the audio quality is good and it's a very easy listen.

Successfully adding to the legend!
As always with anthology books, the stories will appeal to different people for different reasons. Standouts are the tales about the Millennium Collective and 21B but there are no duffers here. Well worth your time, can't wait for Jedi's collection!

Entertaining but nothing special.
In general this book is a collection of amusing stories with just a handful of them noteworthy. Certainly better than the previous "Star Wars From Certain Point of View", but most of the stories are lacklustre and add absolutely nothing of value to the Star Wars Universe. The performances are overall good, with just a few really bothersome due to exaggerated sound effects o irritating voice acting, especially the way the Ugnaughts squeal every time they talk in the story “Bespin Escape”.
