Summary
Elliot: My career took focus in my life while trying to make a name for myself in a male dominated field. I kept my gender under wraps until I was able to let my expertise speak for itself. But I was knocked off my axis when I ran into Arden, the man I had compared all men to since our one night together. Now he was taken - by another man - a very dominant man.
Arden: The love I had for my man ran deep. But I'd never forgotten her. From the very beginning, Daimen and I agreed to our non-traditional life - two men loving one another until we found that woman we could claim as ours. Now, she was standing in front of me, unaware she was a marked woman.
Daimen: I had loved my best friend from an early age. The day Arden submitted to me, was a dream come true. That was until a sexy and sassy blonde entered our life and turned it upside down. I see something in her that scared me. But I would make her mine, mine and Arden's. Claiming hatred would follow us everywhere, Elliot fought us at every turn.
Will the three of us create our own unconventional happily ever after, or will she leave us heartbroken?

Not much depth
Aside from the cringiest part of the book being the nicknames, there was not much character development. It was hard to believe a connection between Damien and Elle because there were no real conversations. Even the love scenes didn't seem that intense other than the author having to say "it was earth shattering." Until the end, nothing really happen and all those characters seem to come out of nowhere.

She wanders alone
Why is she separate from them so much?? Also how is it that she is stubborn, but so quickly she will change her mind. Hot ‘n’ cold all around for all the characters and not much description for intimate moments or for other moments.

Can't finish
The male narration is awful and the story is not interesting to me. I wasted a credit on this.

quite entertaining
a very good book & initial foundational story for the series. I can tell subsequent books are going to include some of the supporting characters from this book. so I am excited to continue the series.

Finding Connections
I like how there is a weaving of the different connections between these three characters and things are completely straight forward. I got frustrated with Elliott when she kept running back to comfortable instead of working things out. I think part of that was to understand that despite her strong business persona she really was vulnerable. The men too have their moments of fear. This was a new author to me that I found at a book convention but I look forward to reading more of this series.
I listened to the audio version. It is very well done.

The Heat Is On!!!!
Holy DOUBLE hotness!!! I totally want an Arden and Damien of my own!!! Dear goodness these men a freaking hot!!! 🔥 It was a bit slow going at first, but once it picked up, it flew!!! There was even a bit of suspense that I was not expecting! 😍. Basically this book had just a bit of everything in it along with a lot of LOVE! Because regardless of how hot it is, Foundations is about love! And lots of it! I know that MMF is not for everyone. But if you're on the fence and thinking you might like to try it I absolutely recommend this as a starting point! Leigh did a fantastic job of emphasizing the love aspect of this story at every turn! Worth every single hot star I can give! (And a whole lot of 💜💜💜💜💜) 😍

Narration 👏👏👏
Ok I just listened to the audio and holy freaking hotness! It was even better than I remembered! Both Daimen and Arden were so freaking swoony.... and I just wanted to hug Daimen all the time! The spice was OFF THE CHARTS!!! Like I totally forgot how hot it was! Really a great story over all.... I have to say that while Chris Chambers did a decent job for BOTH Daimen and Arden, I wish he would have changed up his voice a bit between the 2 men..... and Stephanie Rose was pretty good except when her male voice said "little girl" .... that made me cringe. But I would listen to it all over again!

Needs move back story
This book felt incomplete. I think it is because the author skipped over character backgrounds. I feel like it made the storyline weak.

Meh
This book has potential but just didn’t get there. The readers were overly sweet. While the story did flow there parts that were just choppy

The male narrator's breathing was a big issue.
Like stated in the title, the breathing was an issue. It really took me out of the story having to hear each and every breath he took. I also feel that the confusion from the author of "not just" and "just not" was a big deal. I kept having to switch the words in my mind so I could get the right emphasis. End of the story seemed to happen really quick and I felt some of the characters had wear feelings/reactions to some situations.
