Summary
He's the tattooed bad boy her mama warned her about. She's his hot mess - but mostly hot - next door neighbor. Until a two-night-stand gives them the surprise of a lifetime...
Jillian Morris is a workaholic who forgets to watch the time. And to eat. And to change her shoes. And to keep even a house-plant alive. And to have any kind of a personal life.
Now an eccentric millionaire has left her 16 million dollars. And eight penguins. Yes, real live penguins. She's a wildlife vet who specializes in penguins, so that makes sense. Kind of. She can, and does, keep penguins alive and well. She now just has to move them cross-country to her friend's new animal park.
So if anyone deserves a one-night (or two) stand with a hot, younger, tattooed bad boy on a motorcycle, it's her. Or so Jill tells herself when Zeke Landry flips his bike in front of her motel.
If only she'd known who he really was. And that he was the fall-hard-and-fast type. And the protective type. And that one night would turn into more like nine-months of being...sigh...very personal.

Another great addition to this series!
Zeke Landry is the playboy not looking to settle down anytime soon and Jillian is work obsessed getting to do what she loves , never forming any lasting attachments. After they have a one night stand they have a hard time staying away from each other. I loved watching their connection grow stronger and how their priorities and wants changed as they got to know each other better. One of my favorite characters is Ellie and I love the advice she gives to help these characters navigate their feelings.
I absolutely loved Virginia Rose in this story, she is always great in romantic comedies. Evan Henderson is new to me and I really enjoyed his performance as Zeke. There is an added bonus is you get a look in the book of the series Sealed with a Kiss, Naomi and Donovan’s story narrated in duet by Zara Eden & Jason Clarke.
I love all of Erin’s stories they always leave you smiling and laughing, this was another great addition to this story.

Couldn't Get Past Chapter One
Returning book. The main character was painfully annoying. It might be a wonderful book however, I will never know.

Cute story with unique characters & steamy love!
I'm loving this series! The characters are unique and bring freshness to each story. Even the identical twins are different enough to have widely varying personalities with different passions. This one focuses on people who fit together and allow each other to be who they are without forcing changes and it just fits. I LOVE Virginia Rose and she was perfect casting for this quirky penguin loving beautiful character. Evan Henderson is new to me but did a great job, so I will definitely listen to him again. Jason Clarke & Zara Eden are only in this book at the end as an introduction to the next book - which I will definitely listen to immediately because Jason is the king of my Faveylist. :)

Jillian and Zeke - the explosive chemistry and all the feels
This book is fun, of course, with a crazy bayou family involved but expect to cry, swoon, and cheer along with your snorting laughter. Virginia Rose, Jason Clarke, and Zara Eden do a fantastic job narrating this story. Dr. Jillian Morris is a veterinarian and an expert on penguins. She recently inherited 8 penguins and $16 million to care for them. She quit her zoo veterinarian job and moved with her penguins to Autre, LA to set them up in the Boys of the Bayou Gone Wild animal park where her veterinarian friend Griffin works. Zeke Landry owns a construction company and was hired to build the penguin enclosure and renovate a house for Dr Morris. Jillian and Zeke are unaware of their current construction dealings when they meet outside a motel after Zeke has a minor motorcycle accident and agree to a one night stand. While Zeke and Jillian follow the inevitable path to being together, it is painfully hilarious but also beautiful to watch their growth, missteps, and seeming difficulty adulting every day. Jillian has more growing to do then Zeke in order to be ready to embrace that she can have a relationship and be the best penguin girl too. The story has plenty of hilarity (I love Zeke’s mom’s guess of what she did in a previous life), steamy scenes, sweet moments, family support, and small town goodness with a small bit of angst. Like all the books in this series, it is filled with loud, larger than life bayou characters and situations, simmering and overwhelming feelings, and so many cute animals. I mean there are penguins! Zeke is now one of my favorite bayou boys, his self-deprecating manner is so swoony and endearing. I love that even if he doesn’t have it or know how to do it, he knows someone that does. This is book 3 in the Boys of the Bayou Gone Wild series, and while it is a standalone, the secondary story of the animal park is woven throughout all the books and it’s best to read them in order to understand the growth of the attraction.
