Summary
Eve Sumptor-Riley’s life is perfect. She’s married to the love of her life, has a beautiful daughter and the best friend any woman can have. With her businesses flourishing, and her husband’s professional life expanding, Eve’s life was finally happy. Or so she thought.
Someone does not want Eve to be happy. They are determined to take everything away from her. Once again, Eve must battle her past, this time from an unknown foe. Will she be able to triumph again? Or will she lose everything she worked so hard to achieve?
Author's note: Flawed Perfection is the sequel to Something About Eve. In order to get the full understanding of Eve Sumptor and those around her, you should listen to Something About Eve first.

Eve
I'd thought whilst listening to this 2nd book that there was something not quite right, I love the narration by Tessa, I knew this was a novella, a lot of recap? no all follow on books do that, I guessed the antagonist early, no, what was it?
I had to finish, and in that last chapter I knew the brilliance of Jourdyn Kelly, there is definitely "something about eve"

Reads like a hay fever dream *SPOILERS*
I like this series. Or rather, I should say I like books 1, 3, and 4 of this series. This book, however, makes me cringe. It is nonstop sex between Adam and Eve and lots of nauseating “He/She is so perfect, we’re so blissfully happy!” It’s hard to get through considering (SPOILER!) the author walks it all back in book 3 and and suddenly Adam is out, Lainey is in. Also, the villain/thriller arc in this installment feels like a rushed and silly rehash of the first book’s arc. But I won’t complain too much because the next two books in the series are MUCH better.
Advice if you are like me and lovey-dovey het sex between two people who are possibly lying to themselves gets on your nerves: skip this book and go straight to book 3. To be honest, you won’t miss much, especially since this book is on the shorter side and not much happens.

Flawed Perfection: Spoiler alert
I was disillusioned with the change in the character of the strong woman Eve. I was stunned when she was pressed into apologizing for an affair before she was married.
