Summary

Embarking on a new journey, Santana Summers wants nothing more than to enjoy her new city, new friends, and new career. But when one of those friends is one of Chicago's most eligible bachelors, Santana finds herself getting more than she ever bargained for.

Being the youngest of seven brothers, Josiah Alexander Rose is the quintessential playboy. He is not interested in settling down until his father gives him a proposition he cannot refuse. It's the opportunity of a lifetime, but to execute it, dear old dad wants Josiah to settle down, show some responsibility, and gain a wife. Josiah thinks the idea is absurd until he and Santana come up with a plan that just may land Josiah that coveted position.

It is the perfect solution, and things go well until what was intended to be an arrangement turns into many nights of unabashed passion. With each growing day, emotions mix and the lines of the pretentious and reality are blurred. Will Santana be foolish enough to hand over her heart to Josiah? Is Josiah willing to risk it all for her?

Contains mature themes.

Its the Audacity for me!

Josiah is a manipulator and a jerk! Imagine scamming your family with your homegirl. Then, failing for your home girl and scamming her for absolutely no reason. Then, after begging her not to leave you because you "Love" her...you tell everyone at your wedding that yall scammed your family in order to get a company but changed your mine about the scam to have a clean slate with the woman you love.

So your going to embarrass me in front of the world! Lie and Manipulate me and then ask me to marry you again after you just made me a scammer to the world! Josiah is trash and Santana is a lost soul. Baby love doesn't move like that.

Jacobi and Wesleigh did their thing per usual. Steph! Sis this time you struck a nerve. So you did your job! 🤦🏾‍♀️

This story was rushed

Attention to détail is key in a series. When you mix up a name, a piece of clothing, a date you deemed important and then change it, you missing up your whole series. I can't read another one, I may want to see what's happening with them but the stores seem so forced at this point and I hate the la k of attention with your own characters.

This was a sweet story but very simple…there wasnt much consequence conflict or excitement but i still enjoyed it if that makes sense.

OMG......

This was my favorite Rose Series! I am so mad that Wesleigh and Jakobi are not narrating the remainder of the series. I can't take the boring reading. I only read 1-4. Good job Stephanie Norris, I love them Rose brothers!!

Tease/Annoying Narration

This book has more descriptive moments that don’t involve romance. I can zone out and not miss anything. It would have been better if the male narrator was the voice of the male (during the entire book). The female narrator’s tone/voice can be annoying when she reads the male character’s lines.

Favorite book in the series

The love story of Josiah and Santana was the best love story of the series in my opinion.
