Summary

Twelve women connected by the death of another, realizing what they most want from life and reaching for it - this is the year of discovery, the year of new beginnings.

Destiny thought she had it all - a loving husband, a beautiful daughter, and a future filled with travel and adventure. However, when her husband was killed in Afghanistan, Destiny was devastated. How will she raise Amara by herself without an education or a good paying job? Not to mention, she now has to forget pursuing her dream…a dream that she felt sure died with Terrence.

There is nothing else than now.

February continues the series following the lives of women changed by their interaction with others, through a death. This time it is Destiny's turn, beginning on her eighth anniversary, taking flowers to her husband's grave. Widowed four years before, she has struggled to bring up her little daughter alone, working in a bar. Recently, her best friend had left to fo!low her dream of running an inn in the mountains so Destiny had essentially lost the help of her brother, too, as he was in love with her friend and now spends all of his free time with her.
Destiny used to have dreams once, but now ...

A nicely written, feel good story about relationships and how we all depend upon each other. All aspects of life are touched upon so expect sadness as well as smiles.
Short, standalone and easy to listen, read by the excellent Kelley Hazen.
