Summary

Every family has a skeleton in its closet, but Shane Hall and his relatives have a cemetery’s worth. With no job, no home, and nowhere else to turn, Shane moves back to his rural South Dakota hometown to stay with his extended family. On the surface, it seems like a good move. Everyone is welcoming and eager to help Shane get back on his feet. His cousins even offer him a high-paying job in the family’s salvage business. Creepy Content - Not in a Good Way

The story was okay (not the most well-crafted), but the "creepy" content was disturbing. I was excited to have a male narrator for a change, but he did the female voices and failed miserably - they all sounded the same for the most part. It would have been better to do the entire book in one voice. The ending is less than fulfilling, too. If you're stuck in a blizzard with nothing to read, you might be okay with this book. Otherwise, skip it - there are plenty of other worthwhile choices.

Good wholesome book

Decent story with some language and adult conversations. It has a Good ending. The story does keep up a rapid flow.
