Summary
You just boarded a flight to New York.
There are 143 other passengers onboard.
What you don’t know is that 30 minutes before the flight, your pilot’s family was kidnapped.
For his family to live, everyone on your plane must die.
The only way the family will survive is if the pilot follows his orders and crashes the plane.
Enjoy the flight.
Critic reviews
"Stunning and relentless. This is Jaws at 35,000 feet." (Don Winslow)
"The best thriller I’ve read in years. Buckle up." (Adrian McKinty)
"Falling is the best kind of thriller (for me as a reader anyway). Characters you care deeply about. Nonstop, totally authentic suspense." (James Patterson)

good story good performance
I really enjoyed this though it felt like it was dragging for the last couple of hours. I was ready for it to be over.
I did get mixed up with the characters, there was a lot to keep track of. the pilot and his family, the air stewards, the fbi lads, the terrorists. I was constantly mixing people up and trying to recall who was who.
the main character (pilot) and his wife were instantly likeable and I rooted for them the whole way through.

Good read, well performed
It's well written and keeps you interested. I found the jumping back and fourth off putting, however.
Plays out like a familiar Bruce Willis, Wesley Snipes or Sylvester Stallone action movie but, it's enjoyable all the same

Fantastic, compulsive listening.
This story grabs you from the preface and doesn't let go until the end.
One minor niggle, this is one of those books that skips back and forth in time within chapters, maybe the printed book/ebook contained bullet points to signify the skip, I don't know, but a couple times I hadn't realised we'd skipped back in time or location etc until we'd been a bit into the section. It was frustrating but not enough of an issue to dock a star.

A real thriller
A most exciting and terrifying tale mares only by a somewhat ponderous multiple simultaneous perspective writing style which detracted from the tension
W elm worth reading or listening to

A great ride
you know when you have read a good book when your heartrate returns to normal and you playback the adrenalin ride you have just been on
The author clearly knows her stuff with the aviation links that explain how an aircraft works
I felt like i was onboard the aircraft with all the twist and turns of the life or death choices the captain has to make and with the added action on the ground as the FBI and police battle against time
This book is so well written it could be a great movie and i will be looking for other books by this author
I have noted some of the negative reviews but am pleased that i decided to try the book well worth a listen

Hard to follow on Audible
This book frequently jumps about between different times and this can be super confusing on Audible. There is no marker or nothing to let you know we’re flipping back and it happens really quickly. There were so many times I had to rewind because I was so confused.
The story was enjoyable enough.

Edge of the seat stuff
Within minutes you are launched in to a tense gripping story. It's slick and efficient with narration that conveys the pace and atmosphere of the situation. Brilliant
