Possibly the best “sermon” I’ve ever heard
Nancy Guthrie’s mission is not to understand and explain theology for its own sake (knowledge) but to understand and explain theology as our means of more fully experiencing, or being blown away, by God’s love and plan for us culminating in the person of Jesus and our truly perfect forever home with Him. Thank- you, Nancy for bringing this all together in one place and for helping me to be even more awed by Jesus in my own life. Thanks be to God!

A story that leads to worship
This is now one of my favorite books, and Nancy Guthrie is quickly becoming one of my favorite writers. Even Better Than Eden summarizes the story of the Bible in light of eternity. There is careful attention given to detail, that bring out themes and things in the Bible I’d never before noticed as being pointers to Christ and the story of redemption. I often found myself in tears while reading, amazed at the beauty of the redemption story that God is weaving, but even more at the awesomeness of the God who is weaving it. A highly recommended read if you want to enlarge your capacity for worship of God through a deeper understanding of His Word.

Captivating and illuminating
Nancy Guthrie reads her text with heart and soul. The content is deep and rich. It will encourage your heart and inspire a better reading of scripture. Additionally, her closing hymns are beautiful. Highly recommend.

Lovely🥲
Beautifully read by the author (she even sings the hymns at the end of each chapter🥹). A beautiful look at the beginning and the end - shifts your perspective heavenward.

AMAZING!!!
Nancy Guthrie clearly and joyfully explains large, key themes of the Bible in a way that enables ordinary people like me to understand it better so that we may experience greater awe of and love for the Lord Jesus. Wonderful encouragement
Nancy does the best job keeping Jesus as the main focus in all of her work. In a short sighted world this book keeps its focus on the long distance goal in our Christian walk.
