Useful insight to apply on home soil

Recognising the difficulties other couples face in your own relationship even if there hasn't been an affair, the conversation is more about what happened before the point of transgression and listening to how Esther helps them navigate the conversation helps to open the conversation in your own relationship.

Highly recommended!

Esther makes a lot of sense!..... wish I'd known about her earlier, it definitely makes you look back on your own relationships. It helps you understand that even though experiencing unfaithfulness from a partner is deeply hurtful, there is almost always reasons for their actions, very often it's down to miscommunication/ no communication, but mainly it's to do with the person who's cheating. often when someone has been unfaithful to you, you stay in victim mode, you blame yourself, maybe you weren't sexy enough, beautiful enough, good enough. Esther allows you another view point, that you can only see if you come out of victim mode, and coming out of victim mode is very empowering.

Terrible psychological advice. Victim blaming.

The psychiatrist blames a woman for a man cheating before and after their marriage. The woman deserves better than being told she needs to stop being right. Stop telling them to focus on how the man is feeling. Tell the woman she deserves better than to be treated like this. Very unhealthy.

Brilliant!!!

I love this woman!! What a discovery Esther Perel! I’m now intrigued to read her books as well. She is so sensitive and smart at unlocking couples’ potentials, understanding what’s underneath the surface and helping people get through the most unthinkable challenges, childhood & cultural blocks and limiting beliefs. Her wit and direct approach make her sessions so unique and funny too! Highly recommended!

Don't get anything from it

I never really underdrand or get any practical application from Esther Parel. I look for the substance but never manage to find it. I wish I knew what everyone was getting from her
