About this listen
Discover how you can manage your pain and take back control of your life - without invasive surgeries or drugs.
Despite being relatively unheard of, endometriosis affects an estimated one in 10 women worldwide. That's roughly 190 million people, and due to misdiagnosis, there's likely many more who are suffering without treatment.
Getting a diagnosis of endometriosis can feel like a blessing and a curse. On one hand, you finally have a name for the mysterious symptoms that you've been living with, like fatigue, nausea, and excruciating cramps.
Knowing that you're not going crazy or blowing things out of proportion can be a huge relief.
However, a diagnosis can also lead to feelings of isolation and discouragement - especially when you’re faced with treatment options that seem extreme.
But don't despair - you aren't alone.
In recent years, there have been huge leaps in research that have made it easier than ever to manage the most common symptoms through natural and holistic approaches.
Drawing on treatments that have been in use for hundreds of years, you have the opportunity to take advantage of your body's natural healing abilities and find balance in your life.
Not only that: Within this guide, you'll discover directions for lifestyle changes that can transform your endo experience completely.
In Endometriosis: A Woman's Guide to Beating Endo, you will discover:
- Common challenges faced by women with endo - with advice on how to tackle these issues as effectively as possible
- A comprehensive exploration of endometriosis, its symptoms, and current theories on possible causes
- The crucial role that diet and lifestyle have in your day-to-day experience - and the foods to include and avoid in order to alleviate your most intense symptoms
- An exploration of mind-body practices (and how cultivating a connection between your physical and emotional self can alleviate pain and stress)
- The importance of social support - and how to find groups in your local area or take advantage of critical online resources
- Why incorporating regular self-care practices is vital to maintaining a healthy mind and body
- Pain relief options that skip the surgeries and prescriptions to help you manage endo discomfort through natural remedies
- And much more.
Navigating endometriosis can feel daunting and overwhelming, but that doesn't mean it has to stay that way. Rather than turning to expensive (and sometimes painful) treatment methods, you can choose a new way of battling this chronic disease.
You may feel as if you've tried everything and that all avenues have been exhausted, but there is hope.
Now, more than ever, it's possible to alleviate your chronic symptoms, even if you've struggled to find success in the past. Your body naturally wants to balance its hormonal and biological levels, and now you can help it to do exactly that.

Helped my mum a lot.
So thankful I have purchased this book as My mother and I have learned so many things. My mother has been diagnosed with endometriosis a decade ago now and I felt so guilty not being able to be there for her 100% through the years. Now that she had moved into my house, I wanted to learn about the condition so I can take care of my mum appropriately. There is a section where the author enumerates the food and drinks that worsen or alleviate the symptoms of the disease which I find super helpful as I am now in charge of preparing my mom’s diet. Little did she know that she was consuming goods that even exacerbated her condition, my poor mum. Thanks to this book things will be on the right track from now on. Every person experiencing the disease has individual needs so it is still best to consult your doctor and dietician about this. I’m glad that this book presents alternative treatment to medicine to alleviate symptoms which my mum would be very happy to do. Even include yoga positioning and all. I recommend this book if you want to be informed and be more in control of your symptoms caused by endometriosis.

I choose holistic methods first, when possible
It is so great that this book gives natural ways to help with endometriosis. There are a lot of unpleasant and painful aspects to endo that can be dramatically improved with diet alone. It is refreshing to find information that incorporates self-care practices and natural remedies. Our bodies innately know how to heal, so I always try to let nature help me heal first before I turn to aggressive, uncomfortable, and expensive traditional means. Thank you for writing this!

Really helpful!
This book has been really helpful in providing information and helpful tips. I got this book as my neice has been diagnosed with endometriosis. My sister and I didn't know much about it. I wanted more information so we could support my neice.
The author explains the basics of what endometriosis is, the clinical symptoms, how to find support and most importantly how you can start to do things that will help. For example, your diet, exercise and even cbt.
Great book, recommend it to anyone looking for information and helpful advice and tips.

Great resource for women
I wish this book was available years ago. I had 3 surgeries to remove my endometriosis in the 90's - each time the doctor promising the surgery would alleviate the pain, only to have the pain return and another surgery scheduled. No one back then was correlating the role that diet and lifestyle had or ever told me about foods I could avoid that would reduce my symptoms. I wish I had known the pain relief options the author provides so I could have avoided the unsuccessful surgeries. Listen now to learn valuable information about endometriosis.

A good book for healing
This book is good for anyone who has to deal with endometriosis. Endometriosis is not a pleasant experience, in fact, anything that causes you to bleed is never good. However, this book helps you to heal naturally. I like listening to it because it helps me to understand that the body can heal itself.

Life saving book
As it takes years to be diagnosed with Endometriosis this book comes as a life saver. It is so detailed and written by a lady who went through all this herself. Her story truly moved me and she spat her heart out in this book to help others. Fantastic narration - pleasant to listen. Highly recommended
