Summary
A year and a half into our marriage, I found out my husband had been having an affair with a 19-year-old for six months. I filed for divorce and left.
Two weeks later I met a man, and we fell madly in love. It was a fairy-tale romance for a month and a half, and he convinced me to join him on a romantic month-long vacation in Italy. Forty-eight hours before we were supposed to get on a plane, he told me he needed to go by himself. I was devastated. So, I had a decision to make. Either stay home and be heartbroken, or go travel Europe for a month by myself. And staying at home heartbroken? F%*k. That.
What does a woman do when her life has fallen apart and her heart has been ripped out and stepped on twice in two months? She goes on a wild adventure, makes some bad decisions, and does a sh*t load of soul searching. But most importantly? She finds out how to love . . . herself.

You just need to listen!
This book is inspirational. I have never been so hooked on a book before. Truly incredible, and life changing for me at least. I will for sure miss Gabrielles voice every morning, she feels almost like a new best friends who shared her secrets and life with us. I can't wait for the next one 💗

WHAT A READ!!!
This book is amazing! I suggest anyone that is having a tough time reads it! I laughed and I cried at different parts of Gabriella's life! I'm now sitting in limbo stalking her insta to keep up with what she's up to now. This book will not disappoint!!

Lack of Empathy
Honestly this book isn't bad but there's quite a lot of real issues in my view.
positives - interesting journey, some good quotes/ advice, puts her view across really clearly
negatives - I'm not sure she's heard of depression, there's a lot of self pity and a mantra of being worth more when she hasn't said why particularly with the Javier stuff, the way texts are worded/ people said things I feel like some people were being nicer than their true thoughts because of not wanting her to feel bad
overall I'd say this book may be worth reading if you can put up with constant self pity and a lack of empathy combined with a not very likeable person as our view of her world and are interested in someone's personal journey more in general than for particular reasons.

Excellent for those coming out of a narcissistic
Excellent for those coming out of a narcissistic relationship. Love that she did the audio herself. Loved listening to it via audio as having recently gone through the break up I can't concentrate enough to read.

Needed this book!
If you're struggling with heartache, the kind that really breaks you (then makes you), this is absolutely a must read/listen! It's honest and real, the bits that people rarely admit. Loved it :)

Absolutely loved this!
This book is amazing. It felt so relatable even though our experiences are very different. The writing, narration, story telling and humor were brilliant. I loved some of the concepts she used to understand herself better, namely the thought onion. Ive had some of my own realisations regarding the breakdown of my own marriage. I will most definitely be listening to this again

Wonderful, honest, heartbreaking and lifting!
I can't say thank you enough to Gabrielle for being brave and sharing her story! Listening to this book helped me so much while I was dealing with my own heartbreak. This is an honest, no BS account of a broken heart, but it is also a story about learing and realising that the most important relationship is the one you have with yourself. If you're going through a tough time, belive me this book will help! Believe her when she says it will get better!

Unbelievably amazing
I recently went through a horrible, heartbreaking break up. It was just so awful. This book helped in so so many ways. I would recommend to anyone who is suffering a split. I promise it will make you feel better xxx
