Summary
Ellie Richmond has never been a particularly happy person. When her first vision of death happened at the age of four it was hard not to be jaded.
After Ellie’s mom dies and her out of the picture dad shows up at her funeral claiming she’s in grave danger, things are going to go to a whole other level of weird. Even for for someone with Ellie’s abilities.
Thrust into the world of angels and demons, Ellie will find herself in the midst the war to end all other wars and she’s the meat the dogs are fighting over.
No one could have ever seen this coming, not even Ellie.

More, please!
Death in Her Eyes is an excellent start to the Children of the Fallen series. I loved everything about this audiobook, and I can't wait for the rest of the series. The characters are fabulous; the storyline is entirely brilliant with all the essential elements to keep the listeners wholly engaged. Erin Bedford is a marvellous storyteller with an incredible imagination; she easily captivates her audience, luring them into a fantastical world.
A stellar performance by Krys Janae, she captured all the nuances of the characters and the scenes, with her telling she brought the story to life. Death in Her Eyes is a well-written and well-plotted urban fantasy, one I highly recommend.

I enjoyed listening to Krys Janae, great narration
Ellie finds herself in the world of Angels and Demons, after the death of her mother. She's expected to take sides in the coming war and she’s the one they are fighting over.
Elle, If touches someone, she sees their death and none have ever been a gentle death! She avoids people as much as possible in her life,

Fantastic story
I really enjoyed listening to this story, plenty of action, mystery, sexual tension and self discovery. the narrator did a brilliant job giving each character personality and bringing the whole adventure to life. I'm looking forward to listening to book 2.

So good.
I received this book free for an honest review.
Ellie has lived with knowing how her mother would die for years she just needs to touch someone to see how they die .
The day her mum dies she is informed by the police and she has to pretend to be in shock which is hard as she’s been living her death for years . At her Mums funeral her Dad turns up and when Ellie goes to face him he whisks her away and that’s when her life gets even stranger . Ellie is flung into a world of Angels and Demons and she’s expected to take sides in the coming war and she’s the one they are fighting over. Fabulous story and great characters Krys Janae narrates perfectly and I can’t wait for book 2 .

Extremely entertaining
I loved this book, it's a paranormal academy romance, with the FMC discovering her life has been a lie for her own safety, and she's taken to an academy for the gifted for her protection. Elle has trouble adjusting to her new reality and learning about her abilities, and is left feeling betrayed and manipulated. This book was a real page turner that I couldn't stop once I started, and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series with bated breath, I really enjoyed Krys Janae's narration, it's always very expressive.

Quite Unique!
Death in her Eyes by Erin Bedford and narrated by Krys Janae is the first in the Children of the Fallen series.
We meet Ellie Richmond, the FMC, after she creates a small problem at her school.
We meet Dex, the MMC, as he tries to convince her to come to his academy.
We have Angels, Demons and of course Prophecies.
Would I listen to this book again? yes
Would I recommend this book to others? yes

You already knew you were different but....
You already knew you were different but now you know why. I like the main character (snarky) and the back up characters as well. You follow Elle as she finds out why she is different and she is a pawn in a much bigger game. This one sets up the story of warring angels and their children stuck in the middle. I look forward to see what happens next (both to the main character but her friends and enemies also) . On the narration side, while Krys did a good job there were times where she seemed to be just reading the book (stilted, not bad just distracting, usually during Elle's thinking segments) other times she was more in tune with the story and the characters. It got better as the story went but would still pop out every now and then. I really like the book and Krys did well as the story progressed. I am definitely looking forward to see what happens as the story continues. I received this book for review and these are my honest opinions.
