Summary
There is more in our world than you know. Deep in the darkness of a government building, one man needs to find the perfect solution to a vampire’s request that the government satisfy the debt of honor owed him. If he falls short, the failure will be paid in the blood of the military.
He needs three uniquely qualified individuals. He can find only one. One woman, dying, might be the ace-in-the-hole he needs to appease the Vampire. But then, she might also be the one person needed to save humanity. If she is accepted, will she willingly change? If she is willing to change, will she pass the turning? If she survives the turning, will she be powerful? If she is powerful, what will she do to those who will now want her dead? The universe might forever be changed in her wake.
What you thought you knew about Vampires and Werewolves is wrong...so very, very, wrong.
Performed by Colleen Delany, Emily Beresford, Bradley Smith, Michael John Casey, Terence Aselford, Stephon Walker, David Coyne, Christopher Graybill, Nora Achrati, Richard Rohan, Alejandro Ruiz, Steve Wannall, Chris Genebach, Nick DePinto, Steven Carpenter, Eric Messner, Eva Wilhelm, Henry Kramer, Joel David Santner, Jefferson A. Had to get used to the new style of audiobook narration
I felt awkward at first, me, never wanting to say or do anything in case I missed anything from the screen, felt like I was just waisting my time on the curiosity of experiencing to this style of narration, all the while annoyed that I either had a audioBOOK with a bit too little narration and too many voices (that feeling surprised me lol) or either I was *watching* a movie with my eyes closed (which I do not do, not ever, I rewind a lot to see nuances on actors faces and such.
But!
But… after a while I was either getting used to this style of narration or I was really curious about how the story would develop. My guess it’s that it is a little of both. I feel like the voices/actors were a good representation on the characters and have picked up the second book in this style again rather than the normally narrated audiobook so I would definitely recommend trying this out. Although this is the part where I confess to only having tried this out because of the fact that it’s included in a paying membership. So I thank all that have contributed to that decision

Ah yeah, its back baby!
Well damn, I definitely missed out, I can't believe I didn't know this absolute amazing series became dramatized. I cannot begin to explain how good this series is, if you want an exciting read, a kickass main lead and an A-team set of characters, look no further. Bethany Anne is most definitely one of the best characters that gets me pumping my fist every time she starts to kick ass, with each book it gets better too as I have read most of the original works as well as listened to the version only narrated by Emily Beresford... who by the way, even solo narrates it fantastically, so even if you acquire all six (of my current review) dramatized adaptions, don't be scared to go ahead and listen to her version as I still find it as entertaining as this version. Now, that isn't to say this is not a massive step up quality wise, with all its fantastic cast and amazing sound work... I got to fall in love with the series all over again, ah man I can't wait. Guess I am straight onto book 2, why not give it a go yourself? Or maybe you fancy something a bit different, I also recommend a series by Michael Anderle called "The Witch of the Federation," for me it is on par with this series for how much I love the cast of characters and how they are written, but its a much more palpable size for those who are scared of a big series. Keep in mind though I do recommend this series more though as there is much more meat on the bone to be had... and seeing how BA conquers and divides always gets my blood pumping, see you next time, Josh.

great adaptation
Ignore any reviews saying things are missing because it is shorter. Everything is in the book but some people aren't smart enough to realize how much time is saved when sounds and things of that nature bo longer have to be described word for word. An amazing book with Emily Beresford voicing Bethany Ann again.

Worth buying a 2nd time.
Emily Beresford will always be the voice of Bethany Anne but with addition of a full cast makes this tittle worth buying a 2nd time. It makes one go he doesn't quite sound like I thought he would but it works for me.

Amazing Production
This version of the story, with full audio sound effects, music, and an incredible cast of voice actors has spoiled me. The performances are top notch and the overall effect is like listening to a movie.
The story is great too. The characters are vibrant and unique and the tale itself will change vampires and weres forever for you. I highly recommend this book.

Oh My Gosh!!!!!!
I thought the regular Audiobook was great, I mean Emily B. has done an amazing job with all the voices and getting me trapped into this world, I can't wait for the next book when Bethany Anne gets into the fire fights or even in book 4 or 5 with the sword fights!!! You guys just keep amping up the bar/level.
Keep it up, 😍😍😍😍😍

Not as expected
I've read several books from this universe (or a few dozen, but who's counting...) and I struggled a bit on starting this. This was my first "Graphic Audio" book, and second audio book of any form, and I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Some scenes, the sound effects distracted from the actual story (footsteps were usually the most distracting, due to pacing not fitting what I felt it should've been, and they kept going like the Energizer Bunny,) and some voices weren't what I had visualized. Then again, every reader will "hear" different voices, (and interpret appropriate speed of paces differently,) so that isn't surprising. That said, by the time I was 20% of the way through, I was hooked, and I look forward to continuing the series, especially since I hear the performance gets better in each Graphic Audio book in the series. While the voices didn't fit how I originally would read the characters, I can definitely get used to these voice actors.

Wow!!!!
I love KBG series and now it’s coming out with sound effects this is amazing. I don’t like TOMS voice as much as the other but I like hearing the reality of punching and foot falls. I’m looking forward to the whole series again being more real. I’m so glad Emily did Bethany Ann because no one can pull her off but Emily. Highly recommend

Can't wait for the next one!
Exciting new way to listen! I've read and listened to the original audio of this book, so it was cool to hear it with sounds and music. The original audio is longer so I would recommend listening to it first or read the book. However remember a book uses words to describe the sound effects and emotions in a graphic audio book. Love this series and the whole universe!

Story is great but audio dramatization not
Too much explanation at points and it happens too fast. The voice actors were also pretty poor. Not able to finish it because the wrong voices were chosen for the roles.
I might read the book though because the story is interesting.

Fantastic!
This was my first graphic audio book. I have read The Kurtherian Gambit series several times and listened on Audible. The series is fantastic in any form. I am definitely going to get any further graphic audio books available in this series. I do recommend either reading or listening to the series first to get the entire story, however.
