Summary
Davey’s Rule #85: Daddy will always treat his boy like he's Daddy’s world… because that’s how it should be!
This 132,000-word bundle includes the second half of this best-selling series loosely centered around Davey - a guy on the search for a perfect Daddy…and the insane list of rules he makes along the way. Each book begins with Davey on a not-so-perfect date that ends after the perspective Daddy breaks three rules he didn’t know existed. Each failed date goes on to find his own perfect match and often with Davey’s help, whether they want it or not.
Rules to Obey
Daddy Marcus has been waiting for years to meet the right sweetie - someone into age play who will not only be a good partner, but who can equally enjoy playing with toys or sharing an adult meal on date night. He’s just about given up when he meets Jeff, a genius who needs downtime to get a break from his big brain. Luckily, Marcus has the solution for that problem.
Making Rules
This is a series prequel. Through six vignettes, we get the backstory of Davey’s best friend and widower boss, Sammy - and his beloved and gone-but-not-forgotten leather Daddy Raphael.
Rules to Ignore
This is Davey’s story. It took him a long time and an even longer list of rules to find his way, but if he pays attention, Davey might just find that true happiness lies in a different direction than he’d ever expected.
Rules for Loving
This final book in the series is a five-part, seven-story collection that shows each couple from the series as they live their happily-ever-afters and move onto the next chapters in their lives…and just like the guys themselves, the future is fabulous!
This is the second of a two-volume set of bundles containing this complete series about not-so-perfect Daddies, adorable “boys”, and one sassy brat with an insane list of rules. Grab your fan and tissues because this series comes with both a high heat advisory and all the squishy feels you’d want from Susan Hawke’s books.

Funny and sweet
There was a lot of great couples in this series and then there was a lot of fun round up of stories. I liked how we finally got to see the end of the series tie up the way it did. Susie does a great job with this kink and Michael dean is—as always—a good narrator.
Looking forward to more from this creator pair!

Another great set of stories
Another excellent pairing of author and narrator. Just as in the first volume, Michael Dean does a wonderful job with a wide variety of characters. He gets inside their heads and hearts and brings the listener with him. Finally, Davey realizes rules won't keep him warm and loved and has sense enough to go with his heart. I also loved the last story, where we get an update on all the couples.

Great end to a lovely series!
This second bundles is just what I needed. Sammy’s story, a remembrance of Raphael which teared me up, Davey’s story finally and the update on every couple’s life. I enjoyed every minute of it. Every daddy, and every boy had their own special time, all happily ever afters were darling. The narrator did an awesome job all the way. This is a must listen!

The end of a great series
Once again Davey is back at it, adding to his crazy list of rules for daddies.
The culmination of the series finds his friends all settled and Davey yearning for his own daddy.
What a revelation it is for him to find that what he thought was true is in fact not and that the love and family he's been looking for has always been his.
Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing job bringing these characters to life.

Davey’s Rules Volume 2
This series was brought to life by the fabulous Michael Dean. As much as I enjoyed reading the books, narration books and stories more entertaining. Davey’s is just hilarious and Michael absolutely nailed Davey’s character. I highly recommend both box sets for fans of the series. These audiobooks will lift you up and help you escape the stress of real life.

Daddies and their boys - Part 2
So, this is the second bundle to complete the series. Again, excellent value for money or one shiny credit. I did have one small niggle as when I listened, it felt like Davey's book was out of sequence as it came before Marcus and Jeff's book, but should have been after. I got confused but only briefly, and I love the stories. Michael does a great job of giving the characters their own voices yet again.

Hate to see the series end
I was lucky enough to receive this through GRR. I love this series and am sorry it is over. I find I’ve become attached to Davey and feel everyone should have a little Davey in their lives. Yes he is bratty but also caring. Michael Dean did a fantastic job of narrating these characters and brought them to life for me.
Rules To Obey
This is just one of those meant to be stories. Jeff has had a messed up life overall. His being raised in a cult did nothing to help. His mom being an addict and his dad only being concerned about money and power provided no parenting skills. Jeff was saved and kidnapped by his uncle and started to learn to live a life for him Meeting Marcus gave him the security he longed for. This is a very caring story. It brought out the fact that the best relatives are not blood related.
Making Rules
This is Sammy and Raphael’s story mostly. Whatever you do don’t listen to it when driving. I think I cried most of the way through it. I’m know this is suppose to be short snippets but I felt it was unfinished. The relationship between Raphael and Sammy. This is to be envied. Also, it ends up being heartbreaking. Raphael’s story didn’t really get the attention I wanted it to have. Davey is another subject all together. He is snarky and lovable. I love listening to him talking.
Rules to Ignore
I think this has to be at the top of the list in this series. Maybe I really enjoyed it because of Davey. His character makes me happy. He is so snarky and loving. He handles things so well I can’t resist smiling when listening to him talk. Davey and Sammy end up in a relationship before they realize it. They both handle the family life together that I can’t imagine them not being together. I love the discussion about the rules. I laughed at Davey trying to ignore everyone’s opinion he might be a daddy. This is the topping of the cake for this series.
Rules for Loving
Maybe the best. These stories brought out the laughter and tears. Everyone needs a little Davey in their life. He is so bratty and caring. I don’t know if these are SPOILERS OR NOT SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. Davey presiding over Jeff and Marcus’s wedding and then crashing the honeymoon really made me laugh. Davey’s birth anniversaries. Great idea. Davey’s interactions with his parents both funny and oh no moments. Also Davey becoming a new father…..just wow. I don’t think any child could find a more caring parent if not conventional. I can just imagine Davey at school or elsewhere defending his children!! I loved this series and am sad to see it end.

Let’s hear it for the bundles
As a heads up, for some reason the audio for Marcus and Jeff’s story (Rules to Obey) is out of place after book 7 instead of its proper place as book 5, so it’s necessary to manually play the stories in order. Aside from that, these books my favorites from the series and it’s great to have them all in one place. There are just so many emotions to experience with the stories, along with the whole sense of “family” among these couples. Michael Dean continues to do a great job narrating the books.

Loved it!
I’m in love with this series! A lot of the time I find longer series start to get a bit repetitive but not this one! I love Davey and Sammy and I knew they were destined to be together! I loved the twist of their relationship!! I especially loved Rules for Loving…a follow up to all the previous stories.
Narration was perfection. I absolutely love Michael Dean !

OMG
I absolutely love this author! And it is great to have all of these together so you can listen to them back to back. Michael Dean is such a good narrator too. Davey and his rules! LOL. Glad to see someone could handle him. Those moments really tie everything together. Also just an FYI, Books 6 & 7 are mixed up. Listen to Rules to Obey BEFORE Rules to Ignore. Sammy and Davey's book should be read as the last main one before the HEAs.

Had to have
Loved this series so much. I think I might have squealed a bit when I so it was out on audio. Michael always has this way of making you connect with the charters. He draws you into the stories and makes you feel like you are there in the book. I really enjoyed this set of books.

Solid 4.75
The books felt out of order and it threw me for a minute, but that was all me. I loved the series at the time several books were being released and missed the last two books then. When I rediscovered it in audio I had to get the entire series--and listened to it practically nonstop.
There's almost nothing not to like about these d/b stories. Realistic in the nice way. The gamut of tough subjects told in a way that doesn't keep you down for long. Most of the boys are sweet and not overly needy, daddies range better than most series. All solid stuff.
