Love this series.
Nearly all of this series is utterly fantastic, apart from C.A.E.C.O best to avoid if you like the series.
Not many like this have held my attention for 16 books, a publishers pack might be nice though.
I could say a lot more but for potential listeners I could spoil it.
Just have faith that this book is as good as the others.
Highly recommended.

enjoyed hearing for her side
Once I was used to her sense of self the book was enjoyable. pleased that their where no Australian accents 😄

Off the charts amazing!!!!!
John Conroe is a ledgend, all his books are off the charts, amazing and flawless, the best SciFi Fantasy writer ever!!! James Patrick Cronin is super talented and one of he best narrators I have ever listened to, it's like watching a movie everytime !!!

One of the best in the series!
This is how it all starts, the war with the other dimensions. I think this book gave us a preview of what's going to happen next, and it will be tragic, with lives lost. At the same time, it will be epic!

a great interlude but felt there could be more
as ever a fun installment, good action and the ever present weaving of the meta plot. however, it felt like there could have been more done with Tanya as the main voice.
we got some great insight into vampires and a great bit of pathos and loss.
but the threat felt... disconnected and not that tied into things. and the book did feel like a setup to the NEXT step with a lot of loose ends.
as ever we have the humans being obtuse and oblivious... and omega seems to be edging towards well intentioned extremist.
i cant wait to see the next book as this feels a little less stabdalone than the others and very much a contributor to the broader canon.

Refreshing (somewhat)
Like always great story telling By John and performance well aswell.
I enjoyed this book more than the 2 previous books. Great to hear from one of the OG cast POV. There's no character hopping in this book. All from Tanya's POV!
But the series still focuses around Declan. All about Declan about how powerful he is. Or what's gonna do next like if he's ticking bomb. He's referred to in every paragraph by either name or affliation. Chris is there but all but forgotten In his own series!!
This book is the most screen time Chris has gotten since book 11. As its told from Tanya's experiences. Just want to go back the roots of the series. John has forgotten.
But still a good book and series just not Demon Accords anymore
