A grower and a show'er
Cultivation by @SethRing. In the 3rd book of the Battle Mage Farmer series, the reader is treated to the crazy-arse goings-on in this particular fantasy farm. The characters family relationships are well written - a boy and his guardians - labouring to harvest their wheat.
The threat from the approaching apocalypse and the doom counter exceeding 100 is a unique and fascinating dimension to add to the litRPG series. This book is a grower and a shower in delightfully equal measure 📚5/5🌟 #BookReview #BookTwitter #booktwt #litrpg

almost
The first two books were great. This one seemed to be phoned in. The ending is especially disappointing. You know it's garbage when the characters themselves admit it's cliche. It's almost as if the author is weakening the fourth wall in a bashful attempt on humor. The bad guys also talk like 1990s tv show villains which... idk... the whole thing is worse than 1 dimensional.
Given the incredibly slow boil romance between John and Elly, I was expecting a truly special and heartwarming ending.
It was meh.
I would say the author tried and failed, but I don't think the author was trying.

Abysmal
I like to give new authors a chance. The first book in this series had an interesting premise with the promise of an engaging backstory. Unfortunately, the characters and the story grow more 2-dimensional with each book. When the characters began blathering on about how they were now "facing a dungeon just like one in an RPG" that was the last straw. It's just bad. Bad plots. Bad Pacing. Bad Characters. Go buy yourself a milkshake instead.

A bow on a trilogy. No frivolous cliff hanger…
…just the tease of more challenges to overcome; perhaps this time as a party.?!
Enjoying this take on the genre AND the author’s use of a protagonist that is invincible — leaving the “will He die?” trope behind ala One Punch Man.
Proving again that ‘invincibility’ can be entertaining. Bonus for surrounding yourself with talent — Michael Kramer is John, and Eli, and Haver, and Ben, and…

Not a strong conclusion
Books gradually got worse after the first, which was pleasantly interesting. The whole farmer concept gradually mostly left by the wayside.

Another exciting addition to the series
Seth Ring continues to move the plot along in a steady pace, keeps to a strategic minimum stats updates and adds new characters. As an aside, the backstory of the Moritoi Khans reminded me of Fallout New Vegas' Great Khans even though there were significant differences, as well.
I had been let down when it sounded as though this would only be a trilogy but it turns out, there will probably be at least another book in the series.
Michael Kramer's performance is still spot on.

Great book, legendary narrator
This series is awesome, fast paced, no BS side stories, and main character is as OP as they come. Michael Kramer is just incredible, makes the best hero/villain voices, glad to see him active again!

Best one yet!
I have really enjoyed this series and I think this one has been the best one to date! It kinda picked up the pace a bit and also added some new aspects to the world/story.
