About this listen
Fate knows what they’re doing, right?
Warlock Cornelius is almost 300 and is tired of being alone. When help is needed at a wolf pack out west, he’s quick to go - hopeful he will find his One there.
Matthew is in awe about being in the human realm. Things are so very different than the fae realm he’s from. He was sent to Timber Valley, being told his mate was there, and he’s excited to meet his own sexy shifter. Only his mate isn’t a shifter...
Warlocks and Fae don’t mate with each other. They have an ongoing feud that dates back well over a millennium; to the original warlock and fae. Did fate mix things up?
Cornelius is the first book in the Warlocks of Amherst series. Each book will focus on a different couple and can be listened to as stand-alones but previous couples will make appearances in future books. This book is intended for adults only as it contains a fated mate pair and plenty of magical sexy times that leads to male pregnancy as this is an MPREG story.

An amazing series
I won a copy of audiobook 3 of this series in a competition and thought I needed to start at the beginning. So, even though I had read book 1, I bought both books 1 and 2 in audio, and I was not disappointed in the least.
We meet Cornelius, a Warlock, and he wants his one. After being alive for 300 years, he thinks it should be his time.
Matthew, a very young fae, has been told that he will meet his one in the human world and is excited to travel there to meet him.
These characters are so well developed, and the world-building within this series is excellent. I love how the author explains the little bits that help you to imagine the different realms and the differences between the shifters/warlocks and fae.
Although these can be read as stand-alone, I would recommend reading them all as they are excellent reads.
The narration by Michael Ferraiuolo is excellent, although I did speed up the recording on audible to 1.25, which is typical for me.
