Summary
An absolutely charming and uplifting Christmas love story of hope, forgiveness and the true meaning of Christmas. From the best-selling author of Starting Over at Acorn Cottage.
No one loves Christmas more than editorial assistant Eve Pilkins.
But when her boss hits her with a huge deadline on Christmas Day, it looks like Eve's favourite time of the year might be cancelled. Armed with as much enthusiasm as she can muster, she travels to the coldest part of England, tasked with ensuring brooding author Edward Priest finishes his latest novel on time.
The festive spirit at Cranberry Cross is as dark as the house itself; without a fairy light in sight, it looks like only a Christmas miracle can save this one. Will Eve be up to the task?

So much more than a typical Christmas book. This amazing story features Edward and Eve. Their story is had me my head reeling from all the twists, turns and anticipation of what was going to happen next. Well done, Kate and Helen.

So very sweet
I wanted something warm, cozy and character based, and this fit the bill perfectly. It's a village romance based in Britain, and the reader does a superb job of it.

Hints of Jane Eyre
I confess that I've read and loved everything that Kate Forster has written. I made myself wait until the Christmas season to read this and just finished. I feel like I just received a heart warming and favorite gift. There were a number of unnecessary repetitions of feelings concerning the boss, the job and the romantic interest, but I got over those irritations because of my love of all the characters....truly, I want to live with them !
