I have several canning books but this is one of my 2 favorites, and in spite of the new controversy over the audibles, I have trusted them for years and will continue to use them.

Welldone
A really unexpected treasure trove of great recipes. I thought I was just getting a book on how to can & preserve but I was pleasantly surprised with all of the wonderful recipes included in this beautiful book. I want to buy one for each of my daughters, my sister & two of her children who are interested in cooking. It's a wonderful book to have & I think, to give as a gift.

I am a little disappointed=
I am a little disappointed that there’s not enough information on canning, there are several recipes but the majority of them I would never make. As a new canner, I really would have preferred that it had more information on canning that’s why I bought the book.

I definitely recommended this audible
I grew up on a farm and was quite familiar with canning and preserving foods. My husband is a city boy through and through, and only just recently got interested in canning. We both love this book and I definitely recommended this audible.

Nice one
I don't can, but my husband does! I bought this book for him as a Christmas gift. He spent half the day listening! He's very happy with it and has chosen several recipes to try. He said he loves the fact that there is a recipe to can something and then an accompanying recipe to use your canned item in

Tons of great new recipes
It's been modernized and has heaps of new plans. It likewise has a few thoughts on the most proficient method to utilize them/plans for dishes utilizing them. I was reluctant to purchase it since I have a few Dion Rosser books however this is my new #1.

Easy to follow
Great data. Plans are for enormous clumps. I generally can 4-5 containers of whatever at a time as my nursery produces. Most plans can be split to quartered to oblige.
