1st and 3rd books are a yes

Middle book does not fit with the first and last book as far as style of writing. Narrator is wonderful as she always is.

I love all the Hannah cookie maker, murder catcher, kitty loving lady stories!

I did love the three stories, reading stories from writers like JF. I may have never read them and liked them if I had not read them this way!
One thing that isn't about these books... to the JF fans... the movies on the hallmark mysteries channel are amazing!!!!!! Absolutely amazing!!!
Please do more movies !!!

Jaine Austen Cozy Christmas Mystery

This is a review for "The Dangers of Candy Canes" by Laura Levine only.

Jaine Austen is a part time, semi-professional private eye. She gets into all kinds of mishaps that make you laugh out loud. She is a regular, average gal and thus a very relatable character. Laura Levine writes unique but believable characters. This series is great for anyone who loves cats, cozy mysteries, and humor.

Jaine Austen books usually include her friend/neighbor Lance and correspondence with her parents. Both of these lead to interesting side stories and lots of laughs. Because this was a short story, these things were left out this time. Even so, you'll find yourself entertained by everything else. For instance, Jaine's wrestling match with a woman in the mall while Christmas shopping! Haha!!

The narrator is not the one who normally does these books. That being said, she does a fantastic job! She has a clear, strong voice and keeps you engaged in the story.

Laura Levine is awesome!

I loved the books, especially Laura’s. So fun to have these Christmas stories, I listen to them all year round. I hope they’re able to get the third book into audible soon.

3 part book

I wasn’t a huge fan of the second book- it wasn’t bad, but not what I expected when I purchased the book. I enjoyed the first and third books. I wished it would have been a full Hannah Swenson novel, but over all it was decent

what is after chapter 14.

The first 14 chapters were the whole Hannah Swensen story. The chapters after that are other stories. I can only say I enjoyed the Hannah Swensen's story, it was a nice read. The other 2 stories were ok.
