Deep in the far reaches of the universe, there is a tale of two species attempting to survive in a harsh environment, where the days are covered in light, but the night brings severe cold.

Sophie and her people are fighting to belong and thrive on their new home (planet?) after the destruction of their homeland. Now they are sharing this new world with the Calypsans, whose technology is highly advanced, and their world steeped in the folklore of the stars. Their leader, Ziven, wants nothing but peace, yet their civilisation is destined for war.
