Summary
I want two things in life: a woman and a child.
When I walk into the diner and see Rosie, I think my motherf--king dreams have come true.
We share one stolen afternoon, but then she’s gone.
Eight months later she shows up at my cabin.
Her belly swollen, her breasts full, and with the face of an angel.
Still, she wants to keep on running.
No way in hell am I letting her go.
It’s not just Rosie that needs my protection – our babies do too.
Darling You,
Bucked is a stand alone story that is packed with true love and a man who knows what he wants: his woman. He fights for her like a real mountain man knows how to do! I hope you love it to pieces – I had so much fun working on it with you in mind! Also, if you loved Timber, Jax and Harper (and their babies!) are in Buck and Rosie’s story too!

Totally implausible, HOT, and HEA - what more??
Totally implausible love at first site, mob family vs mountain man crew, HEA and twins. love love loved it lol.
Bought on Kindle and Audible - good narrators, though defo sounded almost identical to first book voice wise.
Also love that Jax, Harper and their babies made a significant appearance in this book, felt like a bonus epilogue somehow.

Joe Arden though. 💕
This was one of those corny books, that you kind of have to love, because of the cute corny ness of it. The voices are what will have me reading again.

Redundant
I know that a lot of series will follow a similar story line, but this was just boring. Besides the names and a few details, it was the same story as the 1st book. Additionally, the language and story are clearly from a male perspective and just like the first one, I cringed multiple times at the dialogue.

Female narrator ruined the book
All I can say is the male narrator was great. The female narrator ruined the book for me. The story line was okay.

fast
6-13-22 re-listened opinion the same, glad I listened
12-2-20 fast paced, surprising. MM always sounds like she's about to break down crying. reading about evenly divided between the two. Would have liked, at the end, to know more about how they got rid of the bad guys. Worth a listen

Quick action packed story!
I really enjoyed this short but intense story. The heroine is the niece of an evil Russian mafia lord, who wants to sell her and her virginity to the highest bidder. She runs away and finds herself in a tiny Idaho town in the mountains. The hero is a lonely, rugged guy who grew up in the small town, where his mom runs the local diner. Their paths cross when he goes into town and meets the new waitress his mom hired. Instantly smitten, they are interrupted by some of her uncle’s goons who have tracked her down. He rescues her, but she knows her uncle will just send more men, so she goes back with them to keep her new live from danger. What she doesn’t realize is that she’s taking more home than just herself. Now her uncles decides to sell her babies instead. Great narration by two of my favorite narrators!
